If you spent the early to mid 90s tapping away on a Neo-Geo controller, you're probably familiar with Samurai Shodown II. This classic fighting game was much loved at the time, and it's seen a bit of a comeback in recent years on Xbox Live Arcade and Wii Virtual Console. Now this title has arrived on Android thanks to SNK Playmore, but nostalgia doesn't come cheap.

Cats do all sorts of cool stuff. They sleep, they eat, they occasionally tolerate human contact, and they turn into furry little bombs to save their kittens (disclaimer: real cats do not do this). Bombcats has arrived on Android, and it was revamped just for us. On iOS this game built around in-app purchases, but on Android the "Special Edition" comes with a single up-front price.

What is Bombcats?

How much free space do you have on your device? Can you make room for 1.2GB of additional game data? That's what you're going to need if you want to play the new Magic: The Gathering game. Yeah, these cards take up some space.

Do you like a good mystery? Then perhaps you ought to take on the role of Joe the janitor in the newly released The Silent Age. It's a point-and-click adventure where one lowly 70's janitor is tasked with finding out why everyone in the future is dead. Of course, Joe's future is our present. Yep, we're all dead.

Joe has a handy time travel device he was gifted by a dying man.

Crescent Moon games has offered up some great games like Slingshot Racing, Ravensword, and Paper Monsters in the past. Now it has released an interesting casual (kind of) racer called Redline Rush, and you can check it out for free.

This is not a traditional racing game – it's a bit more like Beach Buggy Blitz or Temple Run than it is like Need for Speed. You maneuver your car around the traffic, police roadblocks, and other dangers to collect coins and power ups.

If you have $15 to spare and a love of serious RPG's, Square Enix has your number. Drakerider has just arrived in Google Play, and this isn't a port of a console game. It's a new experience designed specifically for touchscreens.

In Drakerider you ride around on a dragon completing tasks and doing battle. The fighting system is a little different than most RPGs. You keep control of your dragon mount with the reins when you need more control, but ease up to allow it to attack enemies.

Frozen Synapse is a turn-based tactical strategy game designed especially for tablets. It debuted in the Humble Bundle yesterday, but was only exclusive for a few hours. The game has now hit Google Play, but the price serves to illustrate how amazing the Humble Bundle truly is.

This indie game has garnered high praise from reviewers. Frozen Synapse comes with 55 single-player missions and cross-platform multiplayer with multiple game modes. The visuals look very interesting – like a virtual reality game seen from above.

We like to keep an eye out for deals, and there is nothing more consistently wallet-friendly than the Humble Bundle. Not only can you get a killer deal, it's charity so you can feel good about spending the money, too. Humble Bundle With Android 6 has arrived with more cross-platform games that will work on your Android device.

This time the assortment of games looks better than ever. Pay any price and you get Pulse, Stealth Bastard Deluxe, Organ Trail (note the spelling), Fractal, and Aquaria.

The new re-reboot of the Superman franchise is getting a lot of buzz, and now you can get in on the fun with the official Man of Steel game. It's arriving right on time, in fact. Can you save the world in this new game, or will you lose interest and go on Reddit or something while General Zod conquers Earth? Stop being so lazy, Superman.

From all appearances, this title seems like yet another Infinity Blade clone with swiping combat and pretty graphics.

In Quadropus Rampage, you are (predictably) a quadropus. I am not entirely sure what a quadropus is, and it’s not adequately explained in the game. All I know is that it has four limbs, looks kind of like an octopus, and it will mess you up if you don't stop staring at it like that. From the first frame, Quadropus Rampage is a torrent of non-stop button mashing carnage. Does this brand spanking new game have staying power, or does it come and go like the tides?
