The Red Nexus 5 began as a rumor, but things started to appear concrete when our eyes landed on a pic of Sprint's internal documentation informing workers that the device was going to land on Google Play February 4th. Now @evleaks has shared what looks like a pretty believable press shot.
Here's the inside scoop - people love Samsung Galaxy devices. So if you're a carrier looking to pick up more customers, you're going to want to offer them more Galaxy devices. And what's one thing that's sure to catch the average consumers eye? It's not specs, nor is it build quality. It's color. Enter the pink Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini on AT&T, the latest leak shared by @evleaks.
Go ahead, show up in black - but you know what, everyone else there will be doing the same. Be bold. Be bright. Suit up in something that will make people remember you. No, not yellow, that's tacky. Purple, are you serious? No, lets go with white. Go ahead, try it on. I'll wait.
Mr. LG G2, you're looking good. The people over at AT&T are going to love you. Just you watch, now that you're available, no one's going to even bother looking at G2s in black anymore.
School's about to start, and nothing goes with that new backpack quite like a Galaxy S4 rocking a dazzling shade of purple. No longer will Sprint customers have to sacrifice power and functionality for the sake of fashion. Especially considering that the Moto X's customization will initially only be available to AT&T customers, the Purple Mirage Galaxy S4 is about as vibrant an option as a Sprint customer looking for a high-end phone is going to have anytime soon.
It looks like the Galaxy S III isn't the only device getting a makeover in the color department: Sony just announced that the Xperia S will be available soon in dark silver. The device is currently available in both white and black, so if you have some sort of phobia against the extreme color palate, then this new version may be the answer to your I-want-an-Xperia-S-but-hate-black-and-white prayers.
Unfortunately, Sony failed to mentioned when exactly this new color option will become available, only suggesting that we "keep [our] eyes peeled."
