Deal Alert: Newegg Offering Sprint HTC One Pre-Order For $129.99 On New Accounts, Upgrades With Next-Day Shipping

Posted by Liam Spradlin in Deals, One

Those on contract with the Now Network who've had their eye on HTC's latest flagship, the One, should listen up – Newegg is offering pre-orders for the One in both its Stealth Black and Glacial White color variants for $129.99 with next-day shipping.

image

Of course, Sprint is offering pre-orders of the device to new customers for just $99.99, but the deal excludes upgrades. In case you've forgotten what makes the HTC One worth looking at, here's a quick look at its specs.

[Deal Alert] Amazon Extends $99.99 Droid Razr Maxx HD Offer To Upgrades

Posted by Liam Spradlin in Deals, RAZR HD / RAZR MAXX HD, Verizon Wireless

Last month, we saw Motorola's Droid Razr Maxx HD offered up for $99.99 on Amazon for new accounts only. If you're already a Verizon subscriber who's looking to instead upgrade to the Maxx HD, you're in luck – it looks like Amazon has extended the offer to upgrade customers as well. For reference, Amazon's price puts the phone a full $200 below Verizon's own price.

image

Just in case you've forgotten, the Droid Razr Maxx HD packs a 4.7" 720x1280 display (that's 312ppi), 8MP camera, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and 1GB RAM. Oh, and an ample 3300mAh battery. If that's not enough to sway you, keep in mind the Maxx HD recently saw its upgrade to Jelly Bean 4.1.

[Deal Alert] Sprint's Galaxy Note II Now $150 On Amazon Wireless For New Customers In Both White And 'Titanium'

Posted by Eric Ravenscraft in Deals, Galaxy Note II, News
Last Updated: December 11th, 2012

If David convinced you last week with his testimony concerning his phablet conversion, you're looking to jump on the plus-sized bandwagon, and you're looking to get on Sprint, then today might be a good day to pull the metaphorical trigger. As of right now, Amazon Wireless is selling the Galaxy Note II for $149. Normally the carrier charges twice that much, though we've seen it for cheaper before.

2012-12-08_18h13_20

Unfortunately, the phones are both backordered, so shipping will take 1-2 weeks. If you're looking for this as a holiday gift, it might be cutting it kind of close. Still, you're saving a hefty chunk of change with this deal.  And since it's Sprint, you won't even have a disgusting, ugly carrier logo on your home button!

[Leaked Deal] Sprint Giving Away Free ZTE Optik Tablet With Purchase Of Any Smartphone Starting August 12th

Posted by Eric Ravenscraft in News, Optik, Sprint

If you happen to be in the market for a new phone on Sprint in the near future, you might want to hold off for a couple days. TechnoBuffalo reports that the Now Network is getting ready to launch a promotion on August 12th—and continuing until September 30th—that will offer customers a free ZTE Optik tablet when they purchase any new smartphone. Yes, any new smartphone. Including the free Galaxy Nexus for new users ($99 for upgrading customers).

Of course, the ZTE Optik isn't exactly making headlines in the tablet world, though Liam thought it was decent for the price even when it wasn't free.

[Deal Alert] HTC EVO 4G LTE Is Available On Amazon Wireless For $129 For New Customers Right Now

Posted by Eric Ravenscraft in EVO 4G LTE (Jewel), News, Sprint

Good news for folks who aren't on Sprint, but want to be! (Those exist right?) If you've been eyeballing the Evo LTE as your next phone, you couldn't get it any cheaper than you can now. Amazon Wireless is currently offering the device for $129.99 with a new two-year contract.

2012-06-21_12h52_15

While it sucks a bit for current Sprint customers, upgraders can still get the device for the previously-established $149 price point, saving a bit of money over Sprint's own offerings. The price drop comes right as the Galaxy S III makes its way stateside. We're sure there's no correlation between the two, but this does make the device even more enticing to users looking to switch.

[Update][Deal Alert] Amazon Wireless Offering Verizon Galaxy Nexus For A Penny To New Customers, $149 For Upgraders Right Now

Posted by Eric Ravenscraft in Deals, Galaxy Nexus, News

It's never a bad day for a deal. Unless you're already on Verizon, I suppose. If you're not already part of Big Red's teeming masses, you can hop aboard the nation's largest carrier and grab a snazzy new Galaxy Nexus for your trouble from Amazon Wireless for just a penny. If you're already on Verizon and you're just looking to upgrade, the latest pure Google is available to you for $149.

2012-06-05_12h57_50

The phone still currently lists for $199 on a two-year contract with Verizon proper, so upgrading users are getting about $50 off, while new customers obviously get the best discount one could hope for: everything off.

[Deal Alert] Wirefly Is Selling Pre-Orders For Sprint's Galaxy Nexus For $150, LG Viper For $20 (With New Accounts), Teases You With Cheap, Unlimited LTE

Posted by Eric Ravenscraft in Deals, Galaxy Nexus, Viper

We've been waiting eagerly for Sprint to get on board the LTE train and now that it's finally happening with the Now Network's version of the Galaxy Nexus, Wirefly is stepping in to make the deal even more attractive: the Galaxy Nexus is available today for $150 with a new account. That's half the price of the Verizon Galaxy Nexus and $50 off the phone directly from Sprint.

2012-04-18 18h27_39 2012-04-18 18h28_02

If you're looking to get in on Sprint's "truly unlimited" LTE data plans, but still want to save some cash on the device, Wirefly is also selling the LG Viper for $20, or $80 off Sprint's official price.

[Deal Alert] RadioShack Selling HTC EVO Shift 4G for $69.99 For New Users

Posted by Abhiroop Basu in EVO Shift 4G (Speedy), News, Sprint

If you aren't already chained to a smartphone contract perhaps this is a good time to get your feet wet and buy the HTC EVO Shift 4G slider from RadioShack for the low price of $69.99. You will of course also have to sign up for a two-year contract with Sprint.

htc-evo-new

The slider phone has been available from Sprint for $150 since its launch, with occasional discounts popping up, however this deal from RadioShack appears to be the lowest yet.

Unfortunately, the discount does not apply if you are upgrading your current device. You will have to pay the full $150.

Deal Alert: HTC EVO Shift 4G Drops Down To $89.99 On Amazon For New Accounts

Posted by Artem Russakovskii in Deals, EVO Shift 4G (Speedy), HTC, News, Sprint

HTC EVO Shift 4G is not even a month old, but this $150 (on-contract MSRP) mini-EVO slider was already discounted by Amazon Wireless to $119.99 at launch and today dropped another $30 to $89.99. Since Amazon doesn't charge tax in most states and offers free 2-day shipping, I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that you will not find a better deal anywhere else on the web. Unfortunately, only new accounts willing to sign a 2-year contract qualify for the promotion - those upgrading will need to shell out the full $150.

To recap, EVO Shift 4G features the following specs:

  • Android 2.2
  • 3.6" 480×800 screen
  • 5 MP camera
  • 720p camcorder
  • 2GB microSD card (support for up to 32GB)
  • Wi-Fi
  • 800 MHz CPU (though, don't be phased by this - it's next-generation compared to the older 1GHz chip in the EVO 4G and likely performs just as well, if not better)
  • 1 GB ROM
  • 512 MB RAM
