Cooked until golden brown and ready to be served. And, guys?

Verizon And T-Mobile Strike Agreement To Swap Spectrum, T-Mobile Reiterates Plans For LTE Next Year

Verizon and T-Mobile may not regularly make headlines together, but this morning the two companies have announced that they've struck a deal to swap spectrum (and some money) to bolster both companies' LTE networks. Yes, including the one T-Mobile has yet to build. While specifics haven't been disclosed, it sounds like T-Mobile will be the big winner here, walking away with a net gain in spectrum holdings—something the company desperately needs—while paying an undisclosed amount of money to Verizon for the trouble.

Open Garden Beta Comes To The Play Store – Create Mesh Networks, Share Internet Connectivity On The Fly

Open Garden is hands down one of the most impressive apps I've seen this year. The app, first introduced at TechCrunch Disrupt NYC 2012 as the startup that would go on to win the conference title of Most Innovative Startup, allows users to create an "open garden" of internet connectivity for multiple devices to share. The startup's official website explains it this way:

The operators sell us fancy handsets, but behave as if broken networks are a fact of life.

[New App] MTV Releases Official Tosh.0 App, Suggests You Ditch Your Computer In Favor Of Its Tosh-Centric Functionality

Making it perhaps a little too easy to access Tosh.0's full "online experience," MTV Networks (on behalf of Comedy Central) recently released the official Tosh.0 app to Google's Play Store, adding a suggestion that users ditch their computers, because after all, "opening browser windows is for government workers and exchange students."

The app allows users to immerse themselves in a Tosh-centric world of internet interest, reading posts from the Tosh.0 blog, checking out Tosh's latest caption challenge, and watching videos from all seasons of Tosh.0, including everything from Web Redemptions to Video Breakdowns and more.

Lookout Ad Network Detector Now Snooping Out SellARing

With the advent of the latest and greatest APIs, amazing new apps have been made possible. Unfortunately, these developments have also given rise to another, more insidious trend on Google Play: cruel and unusual advertising. For example, ad network SellARing allows developers to play a 10-second audio ad whenever users make a phone call.

Fortunately, Lookout recently released an app called "Ad Network Detector" to help with such obnoxious, intrusive ads; however, up until today, SellARing was not among the detected networks.

[Updated] Infographic: Here Are The Top 10 Ad Networks Used By Android Apps - Bet You Won't Guess Where AirPush Is On The List

Appbrain, which we here at AP use to this day thanks to a few handful features that the Play Store still hasn't implemented, analyzed 140,000 Android apps and came up with a list of the top 10 ad networks.

While they don't openly state the source of this data, I am willing to bet that it comes from analytics reported by their Ad Detector app which hit the Play Store a few months back.

[Review] Turntable.fm On Android: It's Fantastic If You Have A Good Network And A Bit Of Luck

We've been waiting on turntable.fm to land on Android for a while now. Well, it's finally here! The music sharing service has been available for a little over a year on desktop machines. The concept is simple: DJs join a room and share songs with an audience that can then vote on whether a song is Awesome or Lame. It's a great concept for sharing music.

The only thing that could make it better is if you could listen to (or DJ!) a room while away from your computer.
