[Update: Winner] Win A 32GB Midnight Blue Nexus 6 From Android Police And Listen

Have you guys heard about Listen? It's a pretty rad service for T-Mobile and MetroPCS customers that lets users set custom ringback tones, be it music or a custom message for callers to listen to instead of a ring. It's got some other neat features as well, like Drive Mode, which automatically detects when the phone is in a moving vehicle and plays a message letting callers know that you're currently traveling.

Recent Play Music Update (v5.9) Fixed An Airplane Mode Bug Involving Downloaded Music [APK Download]

Last Wednesday Google updated Play Music to version 5.9. We tore into it as we are wont to do, but we found nothing in the way of user-facing changes (though we did see code that hints at a future way to handle when two or more devices try to use the same Chromecast at once). Google has pushed out two other 5.9 updates since then, and now we have a changelog.

Update Wednesday came and went this week, leaving us with about a dozen new and updated apps. Project Fi and Google Connectivity Services were added to the Play Store in preparation for Google's first MVNO customers, and new versions were rolled out to bring Quick Reply to Messenger and prepare Google+ for the wide release of Collections. A small bump to Google Play Music also made the list, but there wasn't much in the way of visible changes.

Edjing Pro Provides Android-Using Professional DJs With A Feature-Rich Music Mixer, Launches Priced At 50% Off

I'm no professional DJ, but I know a guy. I could pretend that makes me in some way qualified to evaluate a piece of software intended for people like him, but I usually tune out whenever he starts talking specifics about work. Hey, it doesn't matter how cool your job is. Work is work.

Getting to the point, DJiT has released a music mixer intended for professional DJs. The app, edjing Pro, was apparently designed by DJs themselves to place a direct emphasis on mixing.

Google Play Music v5.8.1836R Adds YouTube Music Videos In Search Results [APK Download]

Play Music's v5.8 rolled out last month with a slew of fixes and improvements to make the app fit better with Material Design's guidelines and provide some added functionality like biography and history for artists, and a previous song button in the collapsed notification. The app has since seen a few incremental changes, but the latest v5.8.1836R got a rare treatment from Google: an official changelog. So it must be something important, right?
