If you own an Android Wear device right now, chances are you're probably waiting patiently furiously checking for that elusive Android Wear LCA43 update. Well, we've got you covered. As the links to the OTA ZIP files become available, we will post them here. To flash these, you'll need to have ADB installed and have the Google USB drivers from the Android SDK. You'll reboot your watch into recovery mode, then select "Install Update From ADB." You can then run "adb sideload filename.zip" from a command prompt.

A Note About Flashing

You can only sideload an OTA update manually if you can actually connect your watch to a computer via USB, and even then, you may not be able to.

[Deal Alert] LG G Watch Again Only $50, Except This Time It's Refurbished And On eBay

The LG G Watch was one of the Android Wear launch devices, and even then it didn't feel like the best smartwatch for Google's wrist-bound platform. That has definitely changed in the year since.

But the thing just keeps going on sale. AT&T has sold the watch for a mere $50 more than once. Now you can snag one for the same price as an eBay daily deal.

There are a few things to keep in mind. First off, these units are refurbished. Second, shipping is restricted to only a few continents. You will have the best luck in Australia, Europe, and North America.

The Google Store Is No Longer Selling The LG G Watch, One Of The First Android Wear Devices

It was just over a year ago that we first caught wind of Android Wear. At the same time, we were introduced to the G Watch, which would be the first Wear device—released alongside the Samsung Gear Live—to be sold to the general public. Now, with the addition of the G Watch Urbane and a permanent price drop for the G Watch R, the original G Watch is headed out of the Google Store.

There was no telling exactly when this would happen, but it is no surprise that it comes now. First of all, there is just a lot of LG in the Android Wear section of the Google Store right now.

Android Wear 5.0.2 Update Starts Rolling Out With Some Google Fit Fixes In Tow

Owners of several Android Wear watches (Sony Smartwatch 3, LG G Watch, and Moto 360 so far) have reported seeing an update hit their devices to bring it up to Android 5.0.2. The corresponding build number is LWX49K for the G Watch and Smartwatch 3, LWX49L for the Moto 360.

But before you get excited about a host of new features rolling up to your favorite wearable, this one seems to be all about the bug fixes and stability improvements. Motorola posted the 360's release notes and they include updated Google Play Services and a "variety of system optimizations and security updates to improve performance and stability." It seems that a few users are already noticing small speed improvements on their watches and some bugs being ironed out — for example, if your watch's apps used to fail to launch sometimes, this appears to be fixed now.
