[Exclusive Download] HTC Rezound Ice Cream Sandwich RUU For Final OTA (3.14.605.12)

The HTC Rezound ICS update finally started rolling out today, and what do you know - it looks like the same version 3.14.605.12 that we've been holding onto for a few weeks. Since the OTA version matches the RUU we have, we're releasing it for those who don't necessarily feel like waiting for the staggered update or want an ability to restore back to full stock, or simply want to roll their own custom ROM.

Because I don't have a Rezound myself, I can only verify that the build number in the RUU matches up (3.14.605.12), and there are mentions of 1.16.002 and 2.10.002 which are also both present in the OTA's PRI version.

[Leak] Sony Xperia Tablet Surfaces Packing Quad-Core Tegra 3, Android 4.0, And A Slew Of Accessories

Details of Sony's newest contribution to the tablet world, rumored to be called the Xperia Tablet, showed up last night on German blog Mobiflip. The 9.4" (1280x800) slate appears to be the successor to last year's Tablet S, as it keeps the similar "folded magazine" form factor, albeit in a 42% thinner shell.

The Xperia Tablet is said to feature NVIDIA's 4-PLUS-1 Tegra 3 processor, along with 1 GB of RAM, an 8MP rear shooter, 1MP front camera, 6,000mAh battery, DLNA support, and "ICS or later;" and will be offered in three ranges of storage: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

[Download] Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 System Dump Leaked Ahead Of Release

Firmware for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, including the full system dump, was leaked by SamMobile this weekend. As expected, the OS version in the dump is currently ICS 4.0.4 as opposed to Jelly Bean, but there is still a slim chance we'll see 4.1 at launch. The tablet has received a number of upgrades since the announcement at MWC earlier this year, the most notable ones being a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a stylus slot. It is still unclear when the Note 10.1 is going to launch.

[Rumor] HTC Rezound May Be Getting Its ICS Upgrade As Early As July 29th

HTC Rezound owners may have a reason to get excited in the very, very near future. According to a leaked document, the Rezound may be seeing an update to Ice Cream Sandwich starting as soon as tomorrow, July 29th. The document says the OTA update should be about 292MB, so be sure to have your WiFi handy before you download.

As we mentioned before, there is a decent chance that the tip was fabricated. An update on a Sunday, "6/1" in the "available for pull" field, and inconsistent use of double digit dates are just some of the warning signs.

Of course, we are all waiting with bated breath for the arrival of Jelly Bean, but the more devices that break the 4.0 barrier, the better.

Galaxy Note 10.1 Unboxed In Korea, Uncovers 1.4GHz Quad-Core Exynos And 2GB Of RAM

The waiting game for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has been going on for several months now, but signs that the release is quickly approaching just keep pouring in. The latest of the bunch is probably the best yet, as it leaves basically nothing uncovered.

Korean blog The Brave Post got its hands on what appears to be a retail version of the device, unboxed it, and took a slew of pictures along the way. This, of course, revealed all the specs of the device:

10.1" 1280x800 display
1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor
2GB RAM
5MP rear shooter
GPS, IR Smart Remote
HSPA+ support
7000mAh battery
Android 4.0.x

Of those, the most surprising is the addition of 2GB RAM, as we'd previously heard that the Note 10.1 would pack the now-standard 1GB.

Sprint's Samsung SPH-L300 (Codenamed 'Gogh') Smiles For The Camera Once Again

We first heard of Sprint's mythical mid-ranger, the Samsung SPH-L300 (which is now said to be codenamed Gogh), back in early May. It has once again emerged from the shadows to cameo in a picture, this time alongside the HTC One X.

This little mid-ranger is said to be packing a modest a 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, and have 1GB RAM, a 5MP rear shooter, 4" Super AMOLED Plus display at 800x480, Android 4.0.4, and will run on Sprint's LTE network.

The Gogh is also said to have NFC and should ship with Google Wallet pre-installed.

[Leak] Image Of The Mid-Range Samsung Jasper For Verizon Show Up Online, Reminds Us Of The Droid Charge

Normally, we don't get very excited about leaked images of mid-range devices. This one is no exception.

Still, it is a first look at a new device, so that counts for something.

What you're looking at there is a Samsung device codenamed Jasper. It's a mid-ranger with specs to match:

1.5GHz Dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960
800x400 display (ewww)
LTE
ICS

It's hard to say how large the display is judging by the image, but we'd guess it's probably around four inches. It also looks very similar the last year's Droid Charge, so we could see this emerge as the Droid Charge 2, Charge Mini, or some other Charge-y thing.

Official Ice Cream Sandwich Update Leaks For Motorola's Atrix 2

Users of Motorola's Atrix 2 who have been yearning for a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich on their devices have something to be excited about today – earlier this morning, an official ICS OTA update was leaked, or rather discovered using CheeseCake, a tool that essentially allows individuals to check specialized Moto servers for updates, meaning no company personnel need be involved in the leak. Droid Incredible 4G LTE Slated For A July 5th Release, According To Leaked Internal Verizon Document

Verizon announced the Droid Incredible 4G LTE back in May, and... well, that's it. We haven't heard anything else about the device since (on an official level, anyway), even though it was supposed to be available in "the coming weeks" after the announcement. In all fairness, "weeks" could be any range of time, but we generally think of that as two or three, not seven or nineteen.

Finally, though, a probably release date has leaked. According to Verizon's internal Equipment Guide, the release date for the Incredible 4G LTE is... July 5th! That's almost eight weeks to the date after Verizon officially announced the device.

Sprint Banner May Have Spilled The Beans On A White EVO 4G LTE

In all honesty, I get a little more excited than I probably should when it seems like someone's marketing department has accidentally revealed juicy details. Today, after seeing Jelly Bean 4.1 teased in a thumbnail image and checkout page (which was quickly redacted), it seems that Sprint may have let slip the existence of a white version of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. In a banner found on the Now Network's website earlier today, we see a white Samsung Galaxy SII (nothing surprising there) right next to a white and silver version of the EVO LTE.

Whether this was just a last minute color-swap to create a more visually cohesive banner or a secret hint at a whiter, brighter EVO LTE is still up for debate.
