OUYA Android Console Officially On Sale Today For $100 - Best Buy, Target, And OUYA Store Now Shipping [Update]

The day has finally come, true believers. The OUYA console is real, it's on sale, and you can have one of three online retailers send one to your doorstep. The $100 gaming SoC-in-a-box got its celebrated start on Kickstarter, but as of today you don't need to be among its backers to buy one. The OUYA storefront, Best Buy, and Target are all allowing orders to go through at the moment - Gamestop and Amazon are also retail partners, but the former isn't allowing you to add the item to your cart, while the latter is showing "out of stock."

We knew Samsung's latest entry to the Galaxy Note series was getting an AT&T LTE version, and today the carrier has released more detailed information about its launch. Those of you that want to take your notation on the go can pick up a Galaxy Note 8.0 On June 21st (this Friday) for $399.99, with a two-year contract. That's pretty pricey, especially after other carriers have moved towards no-contract pricing for tablets - it's just as expensive as the commitment-free WiFi version.

Samsung Galaxy Exhibit (AKA The Galaxy S III Mini) Now Available At T-Mobile For $20 Down Or $236 Outright

The latest in T-Mobile's increasingly confusing line of rebranded Samsung phones is now available: the Galaxy Exhibit, previously spotted in multiple leaks, including a predicted release date for today. The Exhibit is a slightly modified version of the international Galaxy S III Mini, sporting a somber teal-on-grey paint job, but otherwise keeping its 4-inch chassis and low-end specs. The phone can be had for just twenty bucks down on T-Mobile's installment plan, or a reasonable $235.99 if you'd rather buy it outright.

We know customers are really looking forward to getting their new Samsung Galaxy S 4 soon.

You Can Hate On Facebook Home All You Want, But You're Going To Love This Launch Video, Starring Mark Himself

Facebook Home has arrived, and whether we like it or not, it's here to stay. The 2.5/5.0 rating at the close of the day isn't exactly inspiring, but it's likely a knee-jerk reaction from Facebook haters, which I am confident will go up to somewhere in the 3.X range with further improvements. Cameron addressed the current state of Home pretty well earlier today, so now that the dust has settled, it's time for a fun video to finish off the work week, both for Facebook employees who worked on the product and us, its potential (but unlikely) users.

Facebook Home Is Now On The Play Store, Available For Select Devices [Updated]

We just saw updates to Facebook and Messenger that were preparing for Facebook Home to arrive on Android. Now, the app is rolling out to the Play Store, albeit slowly. As of right now, links to the app here are pulling up the entry on some devices. We've been trying it out here at AP and some of us can get the app to come up, some can't, but it's clearly on its way.

AT&T's Galaxy S 4 Pre-Orders Will Begin April 16th For $249 With A 2-Year Contract

The launch of the Galaxy S 4 grows ever closer and the carriers want you to know they're on it. To wit, AT&T announced today that its branded version of the new flagship will go up for pre-order on April 16th for $249 on a two-year contract. Pretty standard fare, though with a $249 up front price tag, we imagine T-Mobile will probably have something to say about that.

Action Launcher Looks To Realize The Full Potential Of Home Screen Widgets With 'Shutters' In Latest Update

Action Launcher is something special. The home screen replacement made its debut a short three months ago in December, and found its way into our hearts as one of (if not the) best app of the month. What makes Action Launcher a great replacement is that it's unique – AL is totally different from any Launcher we've yet seen, and it earns that distinction with a couple of signature features: first, all your apps are a quick slide away.

ASUS Announces The Transformer AiO P1801, The Windows 8/Android Desktop/Tablet Hybrid, Will Arrive April 12th For $1299

Back at Computex 2012 last year, ASUS showed off an 18" Windows 8 all-in-one desktop that could turn into a gigantic Android tablet simply by sliding the display out of the dock. Questions aside about whether anyone needs or wants an 18" Android tablet, the tech was certainly neat. This isn't a dual-boot situation, but rather two completely concurrent OSes being run on two separate systems in the same device. The whole of the hardware carries an Intel processor and NVIDIA SoC.

Launch Of Play Gift Cards In UK Imminent? Google Updates Help Files With UK-Specific Information

A mere seven months ago, we saw the launch of Google's Play Store gift cards, a much wished-for addition to the store front that made gifting the store's digital content almost as easy as it should be. Unfortunately for international users, though, the cards were only destined for the US at launch. When "redeem pages" popped up in the UK's online and device-based stores in mid-December, many thought the cards would hit retail stores in time for the holidays.
