HBO Max is offering a 50% discount to those who sign up in new regions
39 countries and territories in Latin America and the Caribbean have been added
HBO Max is spreading rapidly, in both width and breadth. After introducing (very slightly) cheaper plans with advertising, the service is expanding to a ton of new markets today. According to a press release, the streaming movie and TV service is coming to "39 territories across Latin America and the Caribean." Unfortunately it didn't say precisely which countries and territories those actually were, but that should cover almost everyone living south of the United States.

Disney+ brings its streaming magic to Brazil, Mexico, and other Latin American countries
Just in time to watch the new LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special
Disney+ is only about a year old, but it's already one of the most popular streaming services thanks to its combination of classic animated musicals, wacky DCOMs, and of course, all the Star Wars content you could ever want (including the new LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special). Now the streaming platform is expanding its reach to a new customer base: Latin America.

Google One's launch has been fraught with delays and pseudo-announcements. The unifying storage service was introduced in May, but only select users got invited to try it out, then Google re-announced it again a few weeks ago, saying it was available to everyone in the US. But we all know that just meant it was starting to be available to all. Now comes the news that One is finally stepping outside the borders of the USA and going south to Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, then sailing across the Pacific to Australia.
At I/O 2017, Google said that multiple languages, including Italian and Spanish, would be arriving on Assistant by the end of the year. November has only just begun, and Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), and Italian have been officially announced for Google Assistant.
LG Starts Rolling Out The Good Looking All-Metal Midrange LG Zero To Asia, Europe, And Latin America
Smartphones are inspirational. People see me carrying an LG G4 and want a cheaper almost just as good alternative from the brand. But up until now, LG's midrange has been lacking both in terms of specs and looks. That's why it's interesting to hear about the global rollout of a new premium'ish offering from the company that is good enough for a grand majority of users. Think of this LG Zero as the answer to Samsung's Galaxy Alpha series, but in only one configuration so far.
Before we continue, let's get a couple of things straight: this is the DROID Turbo (model number XT1250), a souped-up version of the Moto X 2014 that's exclusive to Verizon in the United States. It's ostensibly a sequel to the DROID Maxx from 2013, and like almost all Verizon-branded devices, it has a locked bootloader. No custom ROMs for the poor DROID Turbo. And this is the Moto Maxx (model number XT1225), the exact same phone released without the Verizon branding or a locked bootloader, and currently sold only in Latin America. Bummer.
Much has been made of the fact that Motorola's shiny new flagship is made (or at least assembled) in America. But there's a downside to this: it looks as though aspiring Motorola customers in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the rest of the world will have to do without. Motorola has made it clear that the Moto X is only for the US, Canada, and Latin American markets.

These 184 Carriers And Major Retailers Across The Globe Will Carry The HTC One
HTC this morning officially unveiled its new flagship for 2013: the HTC One. So far, we've posted the full specs, our hands-on, and the list of carriers in the U.S. and Canada, but if you live outside those territories, you might be wondering exactly which carriers and major retailers to visit to pick up the One when it becomes available in March.
Motorola has just revealed its first smartphone powered by an Intel mobile processor, the RAZR i, at an event in London this morning. Although the exterior of the new device shares a lot of similarities with the previously released RAZR M, such as a 4.3-inch display and Kevlar coating on the back, it couldn't be more different inside, packing an Intel CPU clocked at 2GHz.
