[Hands-On] Dickorate Spruces Up Your—*Ahem*—Parts With Hats, Mustaches, And Self-Loathing

I would like to personally thank the developers of Dickorate for making an app that is slightly less-obviously ripe for the banning on the Play Store. However, avoiding cartoon imagery of naughty bits still might not be enough to save this app from the banhammer. The Dickorate app allows  you to take pictures of any elongated cylindrical object you have handy and add mustaches, hats, sunglasses, and more. To save you the trouble, I have personally tested this app and included the image I took below.

Normally, we get a slew of fantastic, exciting, and innovative devices in the CES storm; however, there are also a few that just aren't worth even considering. This new Polaroid tablet for kids is one of them.

You may or may not have already heard about it today. For those who haven't, here's the skinny: it's a 7" tablet with a display resolution of 800x480, half a gig of RAM, a 1GHz single-core processor, 8GB of storage, a 2MP rear shooter, and Android 4.0.

Everyone hates junk mail, right? I'm not talking about spam emails you get in your inbox on a daily basis, which you may not even notice if you're using Gmail. I'm talking about those pesky paper ads that arrive over snail mail almost every single day, burying the lone letters you do actually care about in an ocean of, well, crap.

Last week, I ran into a website called http://www.yellowpagesoptout.com which finally let me opt out of the 1500-pound Yellow Book. Sure, it's valuable as a monitor stand and could come in handy in a bonfire, but the amount of paper wasted on making them is just staggering.

[Updated] Sprint Wisens Up, Plans To Allow Bloatware Removal On Future Android Devices

Update: For those of you that thought this was too good to be true, you may be right. It turns out that most of the bloatware is still unremovable on the EVO 3D, so we'll just have to wait and see how Sprint handles this moving forward.

Yesterday we told you that all the unwanted junk bundled with the EVO 3D could be removed like any other app, a feature that no other phone/carrier had previously offered. Personally, I thought it was a fluke and Sprint would quickly release an OTA update to lock these apps in place - but I couldn't have been more wrong.
