It's Friday, which means the weekend – and thus, downtime (for many people, anyway) – is only a few hours away. What better way to kick off the next couple of non-work days than with some great games for a fraction of the price? I submit that such a thing does not exist.

We've stumbled across several good deals this morning, including a couple of really fantastic titles for merely a buck. Let's get to it!

Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour

Normally $6.99, you can get your hands on Gameloft's newest first-person shooter for a measly $0.99 for a limited time.

It's a good time to be an Android gamer. Sega, perennial underdog of the console world, has decided to put some of its biggest titles on Android on a pretty big sale. Right now you can grab Dreamcast favorite Jet Set Radio for $2 (regular price $5), Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I and Episode II, plus the Tegra-only Episode II THD, for a buck each. All of the Sonic titles are usually $3.99 to $6.99, making this sale a pretty good deal all around.

Between them, Sonic CD is easily the best game - this 16-bit classic has long been considered Sonic's best 2D run by most fans.

Twelve years ago, Sega released a game for its brand-spanking new Dreamcast system that was so stunningly original its influences can still be seen today. Jet Set Radio (Jet Grind Radio for US gamers) became an instant sleeper hit, and has earned its cult classic status. The impressive, stylish visuals, unique gameplay and awesome music are still remember fondly by my generation. Now that Android hardware has caught up to and in many ways surpassed the old beige box, Sega has re-released Jet Set Radio for the mobile world. You can pick it up on the Google Play Store for $4.99.

If you've ever enjoyed a game with cartoony cell-shaded visuals, graffiti, and an incredible attention to licensed music, you've got Sega's Jet Set Radio (Jet Grind Radio in the original Dreamcast US version) to thank. There are more than a few gamers who keep the ol' beige box plugged in just for this little gem. But now they don't have to: Jet Set Radio is available for Android today, and it's just five bones in the Google Play Store.

For those of you who were too young to remember the Dreamcast, Jet Set/Grind Radio loosely fits into the action genre. Your cartoon character rollerblades around a futuristic Tokyo, hitting assigned spots with graffiti, grinding on rails and other environmental areas, and avoiding or defeating the local cops.
