AT&T's Galaxy S II Skyrocket Getting Its Official Taste Of Jelly Bean, Rolling Out Now Via Kies

You know the spill by now: Samsung is pushing Jelly Beans to umpteen hundred Galaxy devices, yadda yadda yadda. Now, it's the Galaxy S II Skyrocket's turn. We haven't heard anything about this phone in some time, so to see this update make its way to the airwaves was quite a welcome surprise.

Like many of the Jelly Bean updates for other Galaxy devices, this one appears to be rolling out exclusively via Kies – at least for the time being.

[Update: It's Back!] T-Mobile's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Finally Getting Bumped To Android 4.1.2

Update x2: The update is rolling out again as of April 8th. Hopefully it'll last this time.

Update: Turns out that T-Mo recently halted the update. At this point there's no word on why it was delayed, but the carrier updated the support page to reflect the change, noting that it is "paused until further notice." We'll let you know when it starts rolling out again.

If you picked up the T-Mobile-branded version of Samsung's newest 10-inch slate that doesn't have "note" in the name, you may want to head into the Settings menu and tap the update button, as T-Mo has quietly started pushing the Android 4.1.2 update to the device.

T-Mobile's Galaxy S II Now Getting Jelly Bean, Available Via Kies Only

The Jelly Bean rollout for Galaxy device has been fast and furious as of late, with Samsung making the update available to nearly all of its current and former flagship devices. Today's the day for T-Mobile's version of the Galaxy S II – but the download is only available via Samsung's Kies software.

In order to pull the update, you'll need to be on the latest official firmware from T-Mobile, and must have at least 50% battery.

U.S. Cellular Starts The Android 4.1.2 Rollout For The Samsung Galaxy Axiom

Samsung has slowly been updating the majority of its ICS-running Galaxy devices to Jelly Bean (4.1.2) over the last several weeks, and U.S Cellular's Galaxy Axiom is the next in line. Announced just this morning, the update should be available directly from U.S. Cellular via OTA, as well as through Samsung's Kies Software.

This bump in Android version should be a nice one for Axiom owners, as it brings the much discussed Google Now, along with expandable notifications, and several noticeable performance enhancements over Ice Cream Sandwich.

Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2) Now Rolling Out To AT&T's LG Optimus G

If those of you on Big Blue have been jealous of The Now Network's Jelly Bean offerings to the LG Optimus G, today's your lucky day. AT&T just announced the official Android 4.1 (4.1.2 to be exact) update for its variant of the LG flagship, complete with Google Now, expandable notifications, and all the other goodies that one expects to come with the full OS update.

The OTA also enables the ISIS Mobile Wallet, which allows users in Austin and Salt Lake City to test the waters with the new mobile payment system.

Android 4.2 Rolling Out Now To The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) In The U.S. [Changelog]

At the beginning of March, ASUS became the first company to push Android 4.2 to a non-Nexus device when the update came to the TF300. At the time, the company promised 4.2 for the TF700 and MeMO Pad Smart sometime "in the second quarter." We're now three days into Q2, and ASUS has started pushing the update to the TF700 (Infinity). Talk about delivering on promises.

[Updated] Sprint's Epic 4G Touch Gets An Update To Jelly Bean, Requires Kies Due To File Size

We sure weren't expecting this, but today Sprint announced on its support site that the Epic 4G Touch (the Now Network's branded version of the Galaxy S II) is getting an update to Jelly Bean. Undoubtedly version 4.1, but this would still be a welcome upgrade as it brings with it the ability to access Google Now, among a host of other features.

[Updated] Sony Delivers On Its Promise, Starts Pushing Jelly Bean 4.1 To The Xperia TX

Back in early February when Sony started pushing Jelly Bean to the Xperia T and V, it promised the same update for the TX by "the end of March." Here we are, with four days left in the month, and Sony has made good on that promise. You hear that, all other manufacturers?

At this time it's not completely clear what enhancements this brings outside of stock Jelly Bean's improvements, but it's likely similar to that of the Xperia T, V, and TL.

Jelly Bean Rolling Out Now To The Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II On Verizon

AT&T Announces Jelly Bean 4.1 Update For The Samsung Galaxy Express

Released last fall, Samsung's Galaxy Express is a plucky mid-range handset with – for those who don't know – a 4.5" Super AMOLED display (constrained by an underwhelming 480x800 resolution), a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and a gig of RAM.

If you happen to be carrying around a Galaxy Express, listen up – AT&T, in a post to its Consumer Blog, announced today that an Android 4.1 update has begun rolling out to users, bringing with it everything you'd expect, from Google Now and rich notifications to Samsung-specific enhancements like Easy Mode, Blocking Mode (to keep unwanted calls and texts at bay), and a lock screen news ticker.
