Users of Motorola's Atrix 2 who have been yearning for a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich on their devices have something to be excited about today – earlier this morning, an official ICS OTA update was leaked, or rather discovered using CheeseCake, a tool that essentially allows individuals to check specialized Moto servers for updates, meaning no company personnel need be involved in the leak. Here's a quick explanation from our contact Manoj:

Almost all Motorola based Android distros are fist put through a planning then development stage.

If you bought a pre-LTE Evo phone in the last year and you've been feeling left out in the cold, worry not. Sprint and HTC are in the process of bringing Ice Cream Sandwich to your device. If your device happens to be an Evo 3D or Evo Design, that is. The older flagship Evo and this year's midrange phone are slated to reach Android 4.0 sometime in August.

Yes, we know that once again, it's not Jelly Bean.

We can easily forget some of the mid-range to lower-end devices in the flurry of news we have to keep up with. Thankfully, though, T-Mobile and Samsung haven't. At least not in the Blaze 4G's case. This device is currently in the process of receiving an update to Android 2.3.6. It was already running Gingerbread, so this isn't a huge update. What is big, however, is T-Mobile has announced that some time in the future, the device will see Ice Cream Sandwich.

Aiming to "unlock the world's creativity," the team at Fluid Software recently completed a project that began in January 2011 with the release of Fluid UI 1.0. The tool, which is powered by HTML 5 and based online, allows users to quickly and easily create mobile UI mockups for Android (both tablets and phones), as well as iOS using a simple interface that includes all of the basic building blocks (clip art icons, navigation elements, system bars, etc.) for beautiful, style-guide friendly interfaces.

While Samsung may have started pushing the ICS update to international Galaxy Notes back in May, AT&T owners of what is essentially the same device were left wanting. Today, however, that all changes; Samsung has made available Ice Cream Sandwich for the AT&T version of the Note.

Aside from all the added benefits and enhancements of Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung has also includes its "Premium Suite" of apps designed specifically for the Note.

Months after AT&T's Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket got a leaked build of Ice Cream Sandwich, it looks like the device is finally getting an official update. Users at XDA began reporting the update earlier today, indicating that it is available over Kies. Unlike March's leaked build, the official update brings users to Android 4.0.4, rather than 4.0.3, and (of course) carries a different build number. Here's a snippet from the update's build.prop:

ro.build.description=SGH-I727-user 4.0.4 IMM76D UCLF6 release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint=samsung/SGH-I727/SGH-I727:4.0.4/IMM76D/UCLF6:user/release-keys

Of course, rooted users would be advised to wait for a pre-rooted build of the update.

Endomondo, an extremely popular sports and exercise tracker got an update to version 8 today, bringing a handful of minor enhancements. Among these are improvements to routes, the option to like/dislike routes, and the addition and removal of favorite roots. More importantly though, version 8 brings a brand new UI, designed with Ice Cream Sandwich's legendary style guide in mind. Check out some screenshots:

What's great about Endomondo's new UI is not only that it enhances the UX greatly and makes the app as a whole "prettier," but that it brings the app's design more into line with the Ice Cream Sandwich style guide, without making the mistake of following the idea that holo is everything.

Remember last month when we finally saw a press shot of the fabled Motorola Dinara? Well, it looks like the device has come to reality as the ATRIX HD. Discovered earlier this evening, an official Motorola landing page gives us all the juicy details on the device, many of which we saw coming from the first rumors.

Maintaining Moto's recent design language, the device sports a carbon-fiber backing and a slight chin up top where the camera lives.

Some users of HTC's Incredible S have received a sweet surprise today, with OTA updates to Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) rolling out throughout the day. Currently, the update seems to be going out to users throughout Europe, with no reports from North America just yet. The update is about 250MB, and brings the device's software up to version 4.10.405.1, with ICS running underneath Sense 3.6.

There's no word from HTC just yet on when the OTA will begin to roll out to other users, but we'll keep an eye on the story and update pending more information.

Owners of unlocked versions of HTC's EVO 3D are starting to see the Ice Cream Sandwich update roll out across the globe; we've already seen reports of users receiving the update in Germany, Netherlands, Italy, the UK, and more.

The OTA update brings Android 4.0.3 and Sense 3.6 to the other-dimensional handset, but if you just can't stand the wait, XDA user AcerExtensa has pulled the update file and included instructions on how to flash it without updating hboot.
