If you're a fan of classic puzzle adventure games like Myst, then a new entry to the Play Store called Forever Lost should pique your interests. Like many games in the genre, Forever Lost tosses you – a confused amnesiac – into a room riddled with clues, and coats everything in layers and layers of creepiness. Expect memory flashbacks, strange visions, and a whole lot more as you embark on the journey to get your mind back in its former order.

To go along with its haunting environment, FL features an equally as eerie soundtrack, which really helps set the tone of the game.

[New Game] City Of Secrets Makes Its Way To Android, Offers Hidden Object, Puzzle, And Adventure All In One

Every once in a while, a new game shows up on Android that really catches my attention. Sometimes it's the graphics, sometimes it's the gameplay itself. Sometimes it's both. The latter is the case with City of Secrets, which just recently landed in the Play Store.

As far as gameplay is concerned, City of Secrets reminds me of Machinarium. The principle of the game is very similar: find various, somewhat hidden, objects and use them to solve puzzles. Of course, it looks nothing like Machinarium, but that doesn't mean it isn't equally as nice to look at - it's just different.

You may have already played this game on a computer or an iDevice, but it has recently made its way into the Android Market and is really worth a mention. We don't usually cover many hidden object games here at Android Police, but The Serpent of Isis by Big Fish Games really has something captivating about it. Not only is it challenging to find the objects you're looking for, but the whole game ties very nicely into an interesting and suspenseful plotline. While this is the idea behind nearly every game in this genre, not many can do it well.

Gameplay

The whole game is centered around finding The Serpent of Isis, an ancient Egyptian artifact that your grandfather found several decades ago.

The same developers who brought the kitsch hit Farm Frenzy to Android have recently released what they're calling their best game ever: Musaic Box - a game that successfully combines the hidden object and puzzle genres, and adds some truly unique twists that make for a dynamic, interesting experience.

At A Glance

The very first thing I noticed about Musaic Box was the stunning visual style. The environments are clearly polished, with an astonishing level of detail, and almost everything you'd expect to be interactive actually is. The gameplay is challenging, but not unmanageable. Since Musaic mixes in puzzle elements to its hidden object base, the pace feels steady and the game stays interesting.
