This is 2014. We may not have flying cars, hoverboards, or self-drying jackets, but dammit, we can find new and lazier ways to eat good food. Take GrubHub (and its BFF Seamless) for example: a centralized repository of restaurants that will be more than happy to bring you food in the middle of an 8-hour League of Legends binge. Today the combined company is teaming up with Foursquare, so you don't even have to visit their website to get your grub on.
GrubHub and Seamless are merging into a single company intent on bringing more customers to more restaurants, or more food to more customers, depending on your perspective. For those who have never heard of either company, they both allow mobile shoppers to avoid holding their phones to their ears to order takeout by using mobile apps on their phones instead. It's a popular concept, as evidenced by the roughly $875 million in gross food sales the two companies facilitated last year.
GrubHub, an online food delivery and ordering company, just dropped an Android application into the Market. The app lets you find out which restaurants in your area deliver and place an order online or over the phone. Here are the areas with current GrubHub coverage:

- San Francisco

- Washington DC
- San Diego
According to the application description, this translates into support for over 13,000 menus.
