As is the tradition, the current Humble Bundle has been beefed up with some new titles to entice potential buyers. The Noodlecake bundle, which debuted last week, just got five new games, including an unlocked bonus title with more on the way (maybe).
Ever since the death of Google Reader (RIP, old friend), I've been using Feedly for all of my RSS/news aggregation needs. It started off as a viable alternative to Reader, and did an excellent job of mending the pieces of my broken heart during that transitional phase in my life. Honestly, Feedly was there for me when I needed it most. Thanks for being a great friend, Feedly.
Since then, I've watched Feedly grow into something more powerful than Reader ever was. Read More
We've already covered the beta, but now AirDroid 3 is available as a completed release on the Play Store. The new app has an updated UI and a few new features, but the biggest change is the addition of stand-alone clients for Windows and OS X, besides the app's famous desktop browser management. You can grab the desktop apps from here.
The Windows and OS X versions of AirDroid let you do pretty much all of the things you could do in the browser, albeit without the "virtual desktop" interface: send and receive SMS, file transfers to your device, contact and call log access, and of course, notification mirroring for your laptop or desktop, including call alerts. Halloween is right around the corner, and you know what that means (aside from candy-starved children running around in ghoulish clothes): it's time for a new Android figurine from Andrew Bell. For this year's collectable, Mr. Bell turned our beloved Bugdroid into a creepy little cat named Lucky Lucy, whose duality is very apparent from the start thanks to her reversible head.
This contest is now over.
The final results are listed below.
Humble Mobile Bundle 9 may now be just the fix for residents of America's mountainous Northwest who venture out to the warmer, southeastern portions of the country and suddenly find themselves homesick. The current bundle has been updated with two games that kind of take players on a virtual trip to the Rockies: So Long, Oregon (explicitly) and Mountain (not so much). These two titles will go out to anyone who pays over the average, including those who already have. Read More
The Humble Bundle for PC and Mobile 11 was already a good deal with 10 total games if you paid $11 or more, but the deal is getting even good-er now that three more games have been added. The new arrivals are Quest of Dungeons, Don't Move, and Space Chem. If you already bought the bundle, check your download link. The new titles should already be there. As for everyone else, we have some codes to give away. Read More
There comes a time in ever person's life when they need to charge and/or sync like seven things at once. For years we've been left on our own to figure out how to deal with this quandary – do we use seven different chargers scattered all throughout the house? Fewer chargers and alternate devices on charge? Try to use the same charger for everything? There really isn't a good solution.
The folks over at Eggtronic knew there had to be a better way. Read More
You know what goes great together? Stocks with a side of free phone. Seriously, if you haven't tried it...well, now's your chance. We've teamed up with Handy Apps once again to hook one of you guys up with a free phone – an LG G3, to be exact – but we'll get into that in just a little bit.
First, we want to talk about Handy Apps' Stocks IQ. If you track stocks in any way, this may be an app you want to have installed. Read More
Three more titles have made their way into Humble Mobile Bundle 7, packing more value into a pack of games that was already worth it for Kingdom Rush Frontiers alone. Now—in addition to that awesome game, Color Zen Premium, Heroes of Loot, Horn, and Sorcery—people who pay over the average can also get Alpha Wave, Soda Drinker Pro, and Swordigo. We've written up a review for that last one, so check it out if you don't already have the game. Read More
