[Download] Here Are The Top 2 Winning Gorgeous Android Police Wallpapers And 25 Stunning Runners-Up

A few weeks ago, we launched what ended up being my favorite creative Android Police contest to date - the wallpaper design contest. With over 250 submissions, it took me a little while to sort through everything and pick out the two winners, the top 25 runners-up, and even one hilarious entry that we absolutely had to include.

As promised, the first place entry will receive a 16GB Sony Tablet S, and the second one will get the Philips Fidelio AS851 that we reviewed earlier.

For a history of creative contests, see these posts:

Note to runners-up: Because we had so many excellent submissions but only two prizes, we decided that all runners-up should receive at least something for their efforts.

[Updated: Here Is The Winner!] Turkey Day Giveaway #2: Win A Samsung Infuse 4G On AT&T For Answering One Simple Question

A few days ago, we received a mystery package from the good folks at RadioShack. Inside the package were three phones - the Samsung Stratosphere on Verizon, HTC EVO Design 4G on Sprint, and Samsung Infuse 4G on AT&T. Since these phones are ours to do with what we please, we've decided to do what we always do when we end up with extra goodies: give them away.

Since we have three phones to hand out, we're going to make each contest quick and dirty. Each one will last for one day, and one day only.

[Updated: Here Are The Winners!] Giveaway: Win One Of Ten Awesome Galaxy S II (Skyrocket, AT&T, and International) Cases From SGP And Android Police

Who's ready for another giveaway? Good, because we have some stuff to hand out, courtesy of the good folks at SGP. These guys make solid products -- you may remember the Galaxy Tab 10.1 case review that I did a few weeks back. This contest is going to work a bit differently than those of the past, so keep reading to get the details.

What You Get

SGP just released some new cases for the AT&T Galaxy S II, the Galaxy S II Skyrocket, and the International version of the GSII, and they originally pinged us to check those out. We arranged a giveaway with them for ten cases, but they didn't want those without some form of GSII to be left out, so here's the deal: if you don't have a GSII, they're willing to hook you up with any accessory under $40 (granted that you win, that is).

[Updated: Here Are The Winners!] Giveaway: Win One Of Five Ballistic Shell Gel Cases For The Samsung Epic 4G Touch

If you've owned a smartphone for any reasonable amount of time, there's a good chance you've heard of Ballistic cases, some of the most well constructed device protection units we've ever had the pleasure to lay hands on. Ballistic recently released its most popular case, the Shell Gel (more often known as the SG) for the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch -- and we have five of 'em to give away. Who wants one?

What Is It?

it's a rough-and-tough, rugged, droppable, shock absorbing flak jacket for your phone (no, it's not really bulletproof). The Ballistic SG is pretty beast, as it sports three layers of protection: a shock absorbing polymer, an impact-resistant polycarbonate shell, and soft silicone with "Ballistic corners" (because, let's face it - when you drop your phone, it always lands on one of the corners).

[Update: Here Are The Winners!] Five Trident Kraken AMS EVO 3D Cases Are Up For Grabs - Win One For Doing Next To Nothing!

Yesterday I reviewed one of the most full-featured (and full-priced) EVO 3D cases currently available: Trident's Kraken Adaptive Modular System. If you can afford it, it's a great choice, even if it may be a bit on the hefty side (I recommend applying only the middle part of the case, the "Perseus" layer).

For construction workers, hikers, and other outdoorsy types, it's a dream come true. And even if your job doesn't demand the kind of rough-and-tough case that can withstand anything from a roundhouse kick to a good ol' drop on cement, it wouldn't hurt to win a $45 case for free, would it?

Creative Contest: Design A Gorgeous Android Police Wallpaper, Win A 16GB Sony Tablet S Or A Philips Fidelio AS851 Stereo Dock

Following up on the success of our 404 design and banner design contests, we've decided to run another creative giveaway, graciously sponsored by NVIDIA and Philips. Personally, I think the creative contests are always the best - we get beautiful graphic assets and designs, and our talented readers get a platform on which to showcase their skills and creative abilities. Besides all that, looking through the entries is always a good time.

The Contest

This time around, we're looking for static wallpapers. Specifically, we're looking for well-designed, versatile wallpapers that are clearly related to Android Police - think of it as designing the official AP wallpaper.
