Who's ready for another giveaway? Good, because we have some stuff to hand out, courtesy of the good folks at SGP. These guys make solid products -- you may remember the Galaxy Tab 10.1 case review that I did a few weeks back. This contest is going to work a bit differently than those of the past, so keep reading to get the details.

What You Get

SGP just released some new cases for the AT&T Galaxy S II, the Galaxy S II Skyrocket, and the International version of the GSII, and they originally pinged us to check those out. We arranged a giveaway with them for ten cases, but they didn't want those without some form of GSII to be left out, so here's the deal: if you don't have a GSII, they're willing to hook you up with any accessory under $40 (granted that you win, that is).

Yesterday I reviewed one of the most full-featured (and full-priced) EVO 3D cases currently available: Trident's Kraken Adaptive Modular System. If you can afford it, it's a great choice, even if it may be a bit on the hefty side (I recommend applying only the middle part of the case, the "Perseus" layer).

For construction workers, hikers, and other outdoorsy types, it's a dream come true. And even if your job doesn't demand the kind of rough-and-tough case that can withstand anything from a roundhouse kick to a good ol' drop on cement, it wouldn't hurt to win a $45 case for free, would it?

Following up on the success of our 404 design and banner design contests, we've decided to run another creative giveaway, graciously sponsored by NVIDIA and Philips. Personally, I think the creative contests are always the best - we get beautiful graphic assets and designs, and our talented readers get a platform on which to showcase their skills and creative abilities. Besides all that, looking through the entries is always a good time.

The Contest

This time around, we're looking for static wallpapers. Specifically, we're looking for well-designed, versatile wallpapers that are clearly related to Android Police - think of it as designing the official AP wallpaper.

Last month, we gave on dev a free ticket to Apps World North America, which took place on November 1-2 in New York City. Apps World Europe is coming up at the end of the month -- November 29-30, to be exact -- and now we're looking to hook up one lucky EU dev with a way in to conference.

The contest is currently in its voting stage, ends on October 31, 2011.

The contest features applications in six different categories, including Mobile Toolkits and Libraries, CMS, Most Promising Open Source Project, Business Applications, JavaScript Libraries, and Multimedia Software; with five contenders in each category.
