It has been about five months since Glu Mobile dropped Contract Killer into the Market, bringing all sorts of awesome first person shooter action along with it. They're back with a new take on the title, throwing a more blood thirsty element to the mix: zombies.

This go around you play the role of Shooter, a killer on a mission to slay as many undead as possible. The gameplay is nearly identical to that of the original Contract Killer, but instead of knocking off people who are out to kill you, you're dropping those who are trying to eat you.

Duke Nukem 3D Home

OK, we don't have much that we can show you yet, but I think the title sends the message. Ass kicking. Bubble gum chewing. Balls of steel. That's right kids, Duke Nukem is headed to Android in all his state-of-the-art-in-1991 3D glory. Don't believe us? We have visual proof (and a press release!):

Duke Nukem 3D Fight Scene

Damn, you're ugly. Probably because you're from an iOS screenshot.

Of course, this port has been out for some time on iOS, but the developer behind it (MachineWorks Northwest) has been hard at work to get the title on Android. We know it's coming very soon, but we don't have an exact date at this point.

You may remember Leisure Suit Larry - an "adventure game," following a middle-aged man in his pursuit of attractive women, navigating through pixelated environments featuring up to 16 colors.

Replay Games is working on reviving the risqué mid-80s hit, and bringing it to a variety of platforms, including Android.

Replay says that if all goes well with their initial remake, they will look into remaking the rest of the series as well, for a total of seven games, and potentially making direct ports of the originals as well.

Right now the only information we have regarding release is that Replay plans to debut the first game in early 2012.

Nintendo64Logo

Ever dream of going back in time, kickin' it with your homeboys in an old school style sleepover, and rocking the Nintendo 64 until the wee hours of the morning? That dream can now become a reality (well, aside form the actual time travel part) thanks to the updated Nintendo 64 emulator N64oid.

You may remember a few months ago when  N64oid and a slew of other emulators were pulled from the Android Market for a violation of policies, but that didn't stop developer Yongzh from keeping up work on the project. It simply found a new home where it could live in peace, and everything has been rainbows and butterflies for the app and its brethren ever since.

If you've dreamed of being a renegade cop ready and willing to bend all the rules in order to put a stop to street crime, then Gameloft's newest title 9mm is the game for you.

You play the part of aptly named John "Loose" Kannon as the head of a special taskforce of like-minded cops set on ridding the town of crime, regardless of what measures need to be taken. You end up on the wrong side of the law after killing a drug lord's brother and stealing millions of dollars, becoming the target of every gangbanger in the city. The only way to survive is to kill them before they kill you -- legally or not.

It's no secret that we're big fans of tower defense games here at AP -- from Plants vs. Zombies to Fieldrunners HD, we're all about adding a new twist to a fun classic. Magic Defenders HD looks to do just that, with its deep storyline, amazing graphics, and downright awesome gameplay. Don't take my word for it, though, check this out:

Instead of setting up tons of cannons, railguns, or lasers to stop intruders from breaching your walls, you play the part of a lone sorcerer, capable of casting spells to destroy hoards of plundering orcs en masse.

You get to choose your hero for each of the three invasion episodes - the forest, the walls outside the town, and inside the town itself.

Unity3D has paved the road for some seriously stunning mobile games, and as smartphones and tablets continue to become more powerful, 3D shooters and other graphics-intensive apps will finally begin to reach their full potential.

A perfect example of this is MadFinger's latest project: Shadowgun, which we last saw in May. The OTS (over-the-shoulder) shooter puts you in the shoes of John Slade, an assassin hired to surreptitiously sneak into Dr. Edgar Simon's heavily guarded mansion.

Of course, the game's graphics are the real center of the hubbub - they're just that good breathtaking:

The game will be launching in just 5 days (9/28)...
