Gaming news breakdown: Hints of a new Bethesda mobile game, N.O.V.A. Legacy beta, and a teaser trailer of Alto's Odyssey

Often I see plenty of Android gaming news scattered around the web, but with very little on offer to centralize this type of information. You can usually kill time better by simply playing a game on your phone, though. ChronoSpin is a new game for Android Wear that might actually be worth playing. It tells the time (because watch), but it's actually a simple arcade game.

New Magikarp game splashing onto Android this spring in Japan

The Pokemon Company has announced a new game today titled Splash! Magikarp (Hanero! Koiking), set to be released in Japan this Spring. With this new upcoming release, it would appear that the Pokemon Company is ramping up production of offshoot Pokemon themed games and apps for mobile.

unWorded is a creative typography-based puzzler, now available on Android

What are letters? They have meaning, and can be combined to form words like these (and cooler ones like "kerfuffle" and "cantankerous"). They also take up space—they have shapes that can mean something else. unWorded is a new puzzle game that uses letters not to form words, but objects. It's pretty clever.

More than 80 gen 2 Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO this week along with new berries, evolution items, and more [Update: APK Download]

Pokémon GO was a cultural phenomenon when it launched last summer. The hype died down fast, but it might be set to tick upward again with the full launch of gen 2 Pokémon. Niantic has announced more than 80 Pokémon from the Johto Region like Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile will be available in the game this very week. And that's not all.

WWII-themed shooter Bandit Six comes to Google Daydream

[Deal Alert] LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes, Goat Simulator, and more are free or discounted on the Play Store
