Fire And Forget Review: Rough Around The Edges, But Not Forgettable

When a stereotypical madman has access to some conveniently forgotten nuclear weapons, the only thing that can stop him is a flying tank. There is probably no other game in which that sentence makes a lick of sense, but it's the basic premise behind Fire and Forget: Final Assault.

This is an arcade-style action game based on the classic franchise. In this title you must blast your way through waves of bad guys in a post-apocalyptic wasteland to reach Captain Nucleo's nuclear-equipped hovercraft. It certainly sounds like it has all the makings of a killer experience, but is it?

Controls And Gameplay

Each of the 10 stages consist of your car, the Thunder Master III, rocketing down the highway in pursuit of Captain Nucleo.

[New Game] Classic Amiga Racer Reimagined In Fire & Forget: The Final Assault

[I/O 2013] Google Officially Launches Play Games, Brings Achievements, Game Sync, Leaderboards And More

Today, Google announced Google Play game services that brings a suite of new features that game developers can integrate into their titles. The biggest of them is cloud data sync. Game developers can sync their players' progress across devices and platforms. Yes, this feature works on Android and iOS. This is hot.

In addition to cloud data sync, the suite of services also brings achievements and leaderboards. Any game can now tap into a unified system for showing off your accomplishments. If you want a more personal grandstanding experience, Google also introduced both live and turn-based multiplayer features for game developers to utilize.

[New Game] Say The Same Thing Brings Hilarious Trailer And Pricey Gameplay To Android

Say The Same Thing is a game backed by the band OK Go in some way that isn't entirely clear. It's a social turn-based experience where you try to get your brain to sync up with another person's as you both call out random words. It's actually more fun than it sounds.

Each round starts with both parties entering a random word. They probably aren't the same one, so you have to pick another word that's related to what you both said. You continue in this fashion until both of you say the same thing, hence the title. But it's probably best you watch this very funny demo video to get a fuller understanding.

[New Game] Mosaique Is A Minimalist Puzzle Game With Simple Strategic Play

Not all games need to rely on high-resolution textures, fancy lighting effects, and 3D open world play. No, sometimes you just want a clean little game with interesting puzzles to keep you occupied. Mosaique fits the bill with its unique take on mobile gaming. Rather than pile on endless levels, this title only has seven of them. Each time you play, the challenge is to make it through all seven as efficiently as possible. It only takes a few minutes to play a round, but you can put some real thought into it.
