Back at the end of September, Gameloft released a teaser for its upcoming title Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. Needless to say, we were pretty blown away by the graphical content and fluid gameplay. Now, the company has released another teaser, this time showing us more detailed gameplay, and some behind-the-scenes insight into the title's creation.

They also give away parts of the storyline for the upcoming title, including the fact that both protagonist and antagonist will be playable characters.

Gameloft has been releasing high-end games on Android for the last few years, and some of them have been quite good. However, just as many of them have had serious issues that rendered them unplayable for me. Wild Blood will cost you some serious cash up front, but it promises an epic action-adventure story with killer graphics. Does it deliver?

Story And Gameplay

Reading the description for Wild Blood makes a good first impression.

It's prime football season, and it seems Gameloft's looking to take advantage of that with the release of NFL Pro 2013, one of only three fully NFL-licensed complete football experience games on the Play Store.

Presumably looking to take on the likes of EA's Madden franchise, NFL Pro 2013 claims to be the only free-to-play football simulation (kind of a niche, am I right?) currently available. Compared to last year's version, you're getting better graphics, a brand-new team management system, and a rather interesting first-person play mode (not sure how that's going to work out).

It's pretty crazy to look at where we are with mobile games right now. Just a few short years ago, the most graphically impressive games we could get on our handsets were really anything but impressive. Now, we have games like Shadowgun, Dead Trigger, and Horn that take mobile gaming to a level that was good enough for the PC not all that long ago.

Gameloft has just released the trailer for Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, which looks like it will raise the bar for mobile graphics even higher.

We're getting closer and closer to Gameloft's newest release title, Wild Blood. We've seen teasers and trailers for the game leading up to this point. Finally, though, we've gotten something resembling a release date and you're in it. Wild Blood will land on the Play Store "in September," so you can expect it anytime between the end of the month and right now!

...Okay, maybe not right now. But soon!

Gameloft has released the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming Android game, Wild Blood. The game will be the first Gameloft title based on the Unreal Engine, and the action-packed, blood-filled trailer certainly doesn't disappoint.

This is the second trailer to be released for the game, with a teaser trailer being unveiled a few weeks ago. Gameloft has promised that the game will be coming "very soon" to Android. It will likely be followed by the company's other title based on the Unreal Engine, March of Heroes.

summer sale
Last Updated: August 11th, 2012

It's a good time to be an Android gamer - three respectable game developers have just slashed the prices of their games to less than $1 (up to 85% off) in a wild summer sale.

First up, Gameloft's 3D MMORPG Order & Chaos has seen its price reduced to $0.99. This is a pretty significant sale considering it usually costs $6.99, and it seems like a viable option for MMORPG fans, as evidenced by its current 4.25-star rating on the Play Store.

We saw a brief hint recently for Gameloft's upcoming game based on the Unreal Engine. A single still image showed a man holding a giant sword, covered in blood, as he stood alone in a field of his enemies' remains. Yeah. Awesome. Well, now Gameloft has unveiled a trailer for the game that teaser teased. Watch it. Now.

Yeah, this looks kinda big. And by that, I of course mean "really big." Gameloft is touting this as its "first Unreal game." I suppose that means Gameloft's other first Unreal Engine game is going to be pushed back to being released second.

Gameloft took its sweet time getting its games in the Google Play Store, but when the French developer finally got its act together it offered some great stuff. The Asphalt series of racing games has been a mainstay of Android for a while now, and the newest incarnation, Asphalt 7, has finally launched. Now that there are so many alternatives, should you still be revving your engine for Asphalt? Let's see.
