[New Game] The Dark Knight Rises From Gameloft Lands In The Play Store

The long awaited day is finally here: the conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises - is playing in theatres across the world. To celebrate the finale of this epic trio of films, Gameloft has released a game of the same name into the Play Store.

In The Dark Knight Rises you play the role of Batman, who has been re-awakened after eight years of silence, to stop Bane from torturing Gotham. The game gives you access to Batman's arsenal of butt-kicking gadgetry, and puts you in all the appropriate situations to use it: car chases, bomb threats, hostage situations, and more.

If Tobey Maguire just didn't do it for you as Spider-Man and you'd much rather swing around ridding the world of evil as Eduardo Saverin, then Gameloft's rendition on the new Spider-Man is sure to fit the bill perfectly.

The game is exactly what you expect from a Spidey-game: you fight the bad guys, rid NYC of injustice, blah blah blah. For $7, you'll get over 25 missions in five distinct districts of NYC, free rein across Manhattan, immersive 3D environments, boss battles, and a versatile fighting system with melee, ranged, and combo attacks.

Gameloft Announces 4 New Titles At E3, Including Next Iteration Of Asphalt Racing Series

With E3 well underway, mobile developer Gameloft has let loose a salvo of new titles it'll be unveiling at the conference today. These include: Asphalt 7: Heat, The Amazing Spider-Man, Kingdoms & Lords, and Cosmic Colony.

Asphalt 7: Heat

Asphalt 7 is the latest in the iteration in Gameloft's long-running racing franchise, though it appears the gameplay has remained largely unchanged (read: racing games on phones still aren't very good), while graphics and the choice of vehicles have been noticeably stepped up. No release date has been announced.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Commissioned by the studio producing the movie of the same name, it's exactly what it sounds like: a movie game.

N.O.V.A. 3 Sets Up A New Outpost On Android, $7 To Play Not-Halo On Your Phone

Gameloft, creator of great Android games you feel like you've seen before, is at it again with N.O.V.A. 3, the third (obviously) in the sci-fi FPS shooter series that follows ~~Master Chief~~ Kal Wardin as he fights off the ~~Covenant~~ Volterite armada. The game's description touts an epic storyline and, frankly, we'd expect nothing less from ~~Bungee~~ Gameloft.

In all seriousness, despite the game's similarities to other major properties, Gameloft is well-known for making solid, enjoyable, if familiar, games. N.O.V.A. 3 also touts up to 12-player multiplayer modes, and unprecedented levels of storage space requirements (to the tune of 2GB).

Dungeon Hunter 3 Now Available On The Play Store For Free, Better Late Than Never!

When Dungeon Hunter 3 was originally advertised all the way back in December 2011, we were promised an Android release in "January 2012". Unfortunately, those plans didn't quite come to fruition, but fast forward a couple of months to the end of March and you can finally download the game for your Android device from the Play Store for free.

Like the iOS version, there are 16 arenas for you to fight through, and each of these can be played at 5 levels of difficulty so that you can return to them on a higher difficulty level as you get better.

[New Game] Gameloft Releases Gangstar Rio: City Of Saints, Scratch Your Sandbox Violence Itch For $7

No, it's not a gangster game starring the birds from that one CGI movie. Gangster Rio: City Of Saints is Gameloft's latest addition to its collection of "games that are sort of similar to bigger game franchises you know, but aren't terrible ripoffs either." Gangstar's latest sandbox takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and offers the player all manner of weaponry and missions to satisfy their id.

For a mobile game, Gangstar Rio looks very fully-featured. From Gameloft, and after over four months of being teased, we'd expect nothing less. The game includes over 60 missions, a variety of weapons, vehicles, and something called "the Explosive Football." Side note, Gameloft: "Explosive Football" needs to be its own game. Make this happen.

[New Game] Gameloft Releases Six-Guns For Android, Because Why Stop At Five?

Gameloft - the makers of Asphalt, BackStab, and a boatload of other popular Android games - rode into the Google Play Store today with Six-Guns, bringing a Red Dead Redemption-esque shooter to players everywhere.

Following the story of Buck Crosshaw, an outlaw who is presumed dead, Six-Guns allows players to ride through an "open world" set in Arizona and Oregon, fighting off other outlaws as well as vampires and "many other unnatural foes," stirred by a mysterious ancient force.

Six-Guns offers 40 missions, each with a unique set of challenges, taking players across thoughtfully crafted environments and introducing numerous waves of enemies to fight through.

The one exclusion to this deal is Modern Combat 3 - it will, however, go on sale for one day (though they didn't mention the price).
