Quiet, Please! Is An 8-Bit Adventure Puzzle Game That's Just Entertaining Enough To Spend A Dollar On

There aren't enough 8-bit adventure games in the world. This is just one of those facts of life you learn to deal with growing up. Thankfully, there are still a few devotees to the genre, like Nostatic Software. EA Announces Need For Speed Most Wanted Coming To Android October 30

EA has a tried-and-true formula for the Need For Speed (NFS) series: fast cars, good graphics, a cheesy story, and some good old arcade-style racing. Thus it's no surprise that the latest NFS title, Most Wanted (a follow up to the 2008 original) features just that - and as always, it looks like a properly good time:

The game will be coming to all the major platforms - Xbox 360, PS3, Vita, PC, iOS, and Android - so it's unclear how much the press release and trailer pertain to Android.

[New Game] Plants War From GAMEVIL Pits Cute Humanoid Plant Creatures Against Adorable Animals In "Intense" Strategy-Based Battles

Described as part real time strategy, part role playing game, GAMEVIL's Plants War is the most adorable game to offer "intense real-time tactical strategy" I've seen in months.

The game takes place on a post-human Earth, where animals who were left behind on the (mostly) barren planet have begun taking over the one remaining holdout of lush greenery and water – Dryad Forest. Enraged by the animals' exploitation of the forest, an army of plants (using a magical power source provided by Lake Naiad) band together to stop the animals.

N.O.V.A. 3 Sets Up A New Outpost On Android, $7 To Play Not-Halo On Your Phone

Gameloft, creator of great Android games you feel like you've seen before, is at it again with N.O.V.A. 3, the third (obviously) in the sci-fi FPS shooter series that follows Master Chief Kal Wardin as he fights off the Covenant Volterite armada. The game's description touts an epic storyline and, frankly, we'd expect nothing less from Bungee Gameloft.

In all seriousness, despite the game's similarities to other major properties, Gameloft is well-known for making solid, enjoyable, if familiar, games.

Developer Infinite Dreams has retained the original Shoot The Birds formula, i.e. the Pumpkin Boy must protect the little Pumpkids by shooting the birds out of the sky.
