eBay's Daily Deals is once again proving its capacity for awesome - by offering the GSM unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus for just $370. And as far as I can tell, at least in California, you won't even have to cough up sales tax - making this an even better deal than Google's $400 (which totals out at $440 with tax and shipping for CA).
So, you might want to get on that. Like, now. Because we doubt they're going to last.
Update 5/31/12: Verizon is pushing out this 4.0.4 update to devices now.
Galaxy Nexus LTE owners, listen up: the day you all have been waiting on is finally coming. Yes, I'm talking about the update to Android 4.0.4.
Verizon just pushed details of the update to the GN's support page, which means that the update is imminent. Aside from .4, the update also brings a handful of enhancements:

After surprising (and delighting) users by selling the acclaimed Galaxy Nexus directly from the Play Store (at a substantially reduced price), Google has upped the ante, offering a trio of handy Samsung-branded Nexus accessories for purchase starting today.
For now, customers can choose from Samsung's slick Vehicle Dock ($54.00) which includes a car charger, the HDMI Portrait Desktop Dock ($49.00), or the Desktop Dock ($54.00) with pogo pin connectors and a 3.5mm audio jack.
While these reasonably-priced accessories are certainly enticing, Google reminds customers that they "will only work with the HSPA+ version of the Galaxy Nexus (as sold on the Google Play store)." This of course means that those with a Galaxy Nexus connected to either Sprint or Verizon looking for Samsung-branded accessories will have to look elsewhere (it's worth noting that Samsung offers similar accessories for the Nexus' CDMA/LTE variants).
Verizon Galaxy Nexus users, you finally have the Android 4.0.4 OTA update coming your way. You were one of the first to own a Galaxy Nexus (see our detailed review) and experience Ice Cream Sandwich, and yet now you're one of the last to receive updates (after GSM and Sprint LTE). Yup, the previous update, ICL53F, was in... December of last year. I know how bitter it makes you, and I don't really have excuses on Verizon's behalf, so let's just get down to business.
Note #1: First of all, the bad news - if you're not rooted or don't have a custom recovery, you will have to wait for the OTA.
Remember that problem Galaxy Nexus devices were having on Sprint where owners couldn't get any connection to any data network at all? Well, if you happened to be one of those owners, how could you forget? Worry not, though! Sprint just announced it will be rolling out a fix over "a 1-2 day period."
You'll need to be connected to a WiFi network to do anything (though this shouldn't be new to you if you're affected by this problem). Hopefully this will be the end of the data issues for Galaxy Nexus owners on Sprint. If you've been among those affected, let us know in the comments if this fix works for you.
If you're on the Sprint network, and you're thinking about upgrading to the Galaxy Nexus, you might want to hold off for a bit. Some users in Sprint's forums are reporting that they are unable to connect to Sprint's 3G data network, instead only able to get data via WiFi. Ouch.

Every now and then it will get a data connection and the network state changes to CONNECTED, but that will only last for a few seconds. It doesn't matter if I'm in an area with 2bars or 5 bars, same results. I've tried toggling all of the differnt options under Mobile Networks.
Just yesterday, Google started selling the Galaxy Nexus on its Play store. The news caught many off guard - not only had Google not done anything of the sort for quite some time, but the price ($399) was surprisingly low for an unlocked, contract-free device. Unfortunately, however, there was a catch: namely, the gadget was still subject to all the usual taxes and shipping fees (at least in all the states we tested - CA, TX, KY, MN, and likely many others), bringing the total cost up by almost $50. But fear not - Expansys USA has come up with a solution.
A couple of weeks ago, we analyzed a crash log that referred to a mysterious Galaxy Nexus software profile called 'takju'. It was completely unknown at the time what takju was, but we know that Google has been using it to test the next version of Android, referred to as "Jelly Bean" in the crash log.
The veil of mystery has now been lifted, as we now know what this build is: it's the U.S GSM Nexus that was released this morning by Google for sale in the Play Store. The main difference with this software profile verses the yakju variants and mysid is that this one has support for Google Wallet baked in - that's really it.
So, it looks like Google is getting back into the smartphone selling game - the GSM Galaxy Nexus just showed up on the Play Store. What's even more interesting, is the fact that it's selling for $399, unlocked and completely contract free. Three-hundred-ninety-nine dollars. That's only $99 more than many of Verizon's subsidized phones!
Since this just landed, we're not entirely sure of all the details yet, but we're going to start digging through the page and will update this post with all the info we find.
Since it's unlocked and contract free, it will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile, along with "200 [other] GSM providers worldwide." Unfortunately, it's only available in the U.S.
The day that many Sprint customers have been waiting for is finally here: the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. That's not the only new device to hit The Now Network today, either - the LG Viper and LG Optimus Elite also join the ranks of new offerings on Sprint.
Although the Galaxy Nexus pre-order inventory sold out after only three days of availability, it looks like there are plenty to go around now. While the device is going for $200 with a two-year agreement on Sprint's site (and in-stores), Wirefly is currently offering it for $150 for both new and existing customers (with qualifying agreement, of course).
