Remember when we used to play games with people who were actually in the same room? Rookie Play Store developer Seabaa does. They've created DUAL!, an Android game that positively demands you play it with friends. DUAL is basically a top-down space shooter in the style of Galaga, but the structure has been modified to allow two people to play across two Wi-Fi connected devices, either competitively or cooperatively.
The primary game mode pits two players against each other.
Noodlecake is one of those reliably solid publishers that tends to show up a lot in Android Police's game roundups. Like Crescent Moon before them, they've now got their own Humble Android Bundle showcasing some of their games at a great price. You can pay what you want for up to nine Noodlecake games at the moment, including three that are brand new to Android, and more are sure to come at some point.
When it comes to iconic video game titles, there are few that meet that qualification like Galaga. The top-down alien shoot 'em up has been re-created time and time again, but now the original creator – Namco – has brought this classic title to Android.
As you might expect, it has been completely revamped for the mobile platform, but it still offers that same classic gameplay that made Galaga a hit back in the early '80s.
