The Chromecast is not an expensive device, and it's even cheaper when you consider all the free stuff Google has given out to owners since it was released. Google apparently likes to offer some free tunes every now and then to get people using its music service. Such is the case today with Kaskade's "I Remember," which is an electronic/dance album consisting of 20 songs (including a bonus edit in this deal). You can have it for free, and it only takes, like, three mouse clicks.

Original Dropcam And Dropcam Echo Owners Get A Free Hardware Upgrade As Models Reach End Of Life

Sometimes old stuff is too old. It's sad, but companies don't have unlimited resources, and they can't provide new software updates and service forever. That's especially true of smaller companies like Dropcam (though it's technically owned by Nest, which is technically owned by Google, so I'm not sure if it qualifies as a "small" company anymore). But instead of simply leaving owners of older hardware in the dust, or compromising on new features for the always-on home monitoring service, Dropcam has decided to simply upgrade the old models for free.

Gameloft Releases N.O.V.A. 3 Freedom Edition, A Free Version Of N.O.V.A. 3 With Ads And No In-App Purchases

Gameloft has a number of "top-tier" properties like Modern Combat and Asphalt, but it's been a while since N.O.V.A. got any love. That's Gameloft's totally-not-a-ripoff-of-Crysis sci-fi shooter. Well, there's a new version of N.O.V.A., but it's mostly the same as the last one. This is N.O.V.A. 3 Freedom Edition. It's the same game, but it costs nothing to download and has no in-app purchases. The catch is that N.O.V.A. 3 Freedom Edition has ads.

Media Management App Mizuu Gets A v3.0 Material Makeover And Becomes Free

Usually, when an app gets a significant update with a new UI and whatnot, it does not come with a permanent reduction in price. Mizuu is a special case, apparently. This media management app has gotten a bump up to v3.0 with a UI revamp and some indexing tweaks, but it's no longer a paid app--the developer has decided to make it completely free.

[Deal Alert] > Album Title Goes Here < By Deadmau5 Is Available For Download Free From Google Play

In the last month Google has offered up the Guardians of the Galaxy mixtape, Lorde's Pure Heroine, and Night Visions by Imagine Dragons entirely for free. Now you can grab deadmau5's electronic album titled > album title goes here < (no, that's not a note for me to come back and wiki the name later).
