Google makes Play Store sales (including free offers) for paid apps and games official

You may have seen earlier this month that Google started testing a few new sale features on the Play Store. Select developers were able to set sale prices that showed up on the purchase button, and (finally) paid listings could be temporarily free. Now, that functionality is official. T-Mobile will offer a free extra line to customers with two or more lines starting March 1st

T-Mobile is no stranger to making big moves in order to attract new sign-ups. That's been its MO for the last few years as it slowly leaches subscribers away from the other carriers. Tmo's service hasn't been as good of a deal lately, but there's a very intriguing promotion starting March 1st. T-Mobile will give most subscribers a free line.

Viber makes calls free between the US and countries affected by Trump's immigration ban

Viber has been around as a VoIP solution on mobile devices for ages, but it also has a service called Viber Out that lets you call landlines. It usually costs money to do that, but not in select scenarios right now. Viber has announced that calls between landline and mobile numbers in the US and the seven countries affected by Donald Trump's controversial immigration ban will be free.

[Deal Alert] Korean movie War of the Arrows is free on Google Play (US and Canada)

We all like watching movies, so even better when they're free on Google Play. Today Google is offering Korean film War of the Arrows for free on the Play Store for residents of Canada and the United States.

The film is set during the second Manchu invasion of Korea in 1636, and features an archer who risks his life to save his sister from a lifetime of slavery. The film was praised in critical reviews for its fast pace and action scenes, and won multiple awards in the Korean film industry. In addition, it currently has a rating of 4.3 on Google Play.
