Canary Flex is a weather-proof wire-free HD security cam with 4G LTE support

There is no shortage of WiFi-capable wireless security cameras on the market today. The Canary Flex is another entry, but with a few tricks that help it stand out from the crowd. First off, the design marks a strong resemblance to GlaDOS, and is available in white or black colors.

Inside the main unit is a 720p camera (actually 1080p, but downgraded for smoother streaming), a high-quality microphone, a 116° wide-angle lens, and dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy support. There is also a speaker for two-way communication, but that feature will come in a future software update.

AT&T Pushing Android 4.1.2 To The Pantech Flex Beginning June 21st

What's that? You've never heard of the Pantech Flex? Don't sweat it – it's just a little AT&T freebie sporting various mid-range specs. But today, it becomes something more. Something better. Something Jelly Bean-ier. The handset is currently receiving its version bump to Android 4.1.2, which of course brings all sorts of goodies to the table.

According to AT&T's blog post, Flex owners should get a text message when the update is available on their handset. To pull the update, simply follow the on-screen instructions to pull it down and install. Have fun!

[CES 2013] Fitbit Announces The Flex, A Wristband To Help You Monitor Progress While You're Up In The Gym Just Working On Your Fitness

It's the new year, and you know what that means: everyone is trying to lose weight. Nothing wrong with starting the year off trying to shed a few pounds – but the hard part is staying motivated. There are a flurry of apps that can aid in such a quest, but the real benefit comes when your workout data can be automatically synced with your smart device. And now, Fitbit – a site/service "dedicated to helping people lead healthier, more active lives" – is getting into the game with its own wristband, a la Jawbone's Up or Nike's Fuelband.
