Update: Google has removed Modaco's app from the Play Store. Boo, hiss.

So Adobe's Flash for Android has gone the way of the dodo, and it can no longer be  downloaded from Google Play. Many users have already made sure to keep a backup of the APK handy for the odd occasion when a video is still only available in Flash form (I'm looking at you, Zero Punctuation). But what id you lose your device, or accidentally wipe your SD card, or forget how Dropbox works?

I remember the first time I really heard about Flash for Android. Well, maybe not heard about it. The first time I got sort of excited about it. It was in San Francisco, at a trendy Spanish-restaurant-meets-brewery back in the summer of 2010. The taps were pouring freely (and by that, I mean free of charge), tasty little hors d'oeuvres came at us from from all directions, and everyone was having a good, if typically nerdy-awkward, time.

When we first reported on Motorola's alleged Xoom 2, very few - if any - details were certain. An anonymous tipster has been piling on the information since then, however, providing photos, (some) specs, and perhaps the most interesting detail of all - a second, smaller version of the Xoom 2, expected to be billed as an "e-reader replacement."

The Xoom 2's smaller relative appears to have the same rear buttons (power and volume rocker) as its larger counterpart, and a generally similar form factor, if not yet completely polished.
