Google has launched numerous products infused with AI technology, and it looks like health and fitness is its next target. Google is working on a health and wellbeing coach fittingly called "Google Coach." The name could change before launch, but Google already has a lot of ideas in the pipeline for how this service will work.
Google-owned Nest used to be one of the few companies selling WiFi home security cameras, but now everyone is doing it. While Nest still has a very polished solution, other companies are quickly closing in. So, what can Nest do to set itself apart? We've learned from a trusted source that Nest is on the verge of announcing a 4K home security camera, but it won't actually record in 4K. Instead, it uses the 4K resolution to power some cool zooming tricks.
Android N is expected to show up at I/O in May, but you don't have to wait until the official unveiling to see what the future holds. Following our report on the upcoming changes to the notification shade and quick settings, we've got more details on the system settings in Android N. You might have already seen the settings screenshot with a hamburger menu, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Google changed the style of Android's notification shade and quick settings with the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop, and based on an early version of Android N we've seen, it's changing things up again. The look of Android N's notification shade is being altered, but it's more than cosmetic. Notifications will include more info, and quick settings are finally creeping in. The full quick settings UI is getting a new paginated style, and editing tiles will be easier.
We've already gotten a good look at the Huawei-built Nexus 6P, but what of its smaller sibling, the repeatedly leaked Nexus 5X from LG? We've got a full image of that one too. It's definitely the more attractive of this year's two Nexus phones, but at least you've got a choice this time—we usually only have one.
We're only a few days away from the new Nexus announcement, and it's prime time for some leaks. The Nexus 6 was a break from the past for the Nexus program with its high price tag and massive size, but it was probably an emergency replacement after the collapse of Android Silver. We've been wondering if Google would recommit to the Nexus program, and it's sounding like yes—in a big way. We've gotten some details on two alleged Nexus phones for 2015, but there are currently no plans for a tablet.
Google's current Photos app uses some image processing smarts to piece together auto-awesome compilations and Stories, but the new Photos experience pushes the limits of computer vision. Not only does it pick out and identify faces, it recognizes objects like cars and food. It's not perfect, but it's sometimes creepily accurate.

Android 5.0 was a big visual change for Android, but the upcoming M release will make its mark on Android as well. Google is likely going to announce hard cut-offs for Nexus device update support. There will be no more guessing about which devices will get updates and for how long, but that means several older devices are going to stay on Lollipop.
Google will be unveiling the successor to Lollipop at Google I/O in just a few days, but we won't get a real name. It will likely just be called Android M until it's released, but Google has an internal code name just as it did for L and K. It's called Macadamia Nut Cookie (MNC), a name which is already being referenced in AOSP.
Shortly before jumping into the set top box race, Amazon unveiled that it was ready to bring exclusive games to its platforms. Since then, Amazon Game Studios has released a number of titles, with Sev Zero launching with the Fire TV, followed by Saber's Edge and To-Fu Fury for Fire Phone. Now we see three more that are currently in development: CreepStorm, Til Morning's Light, and Tales From Deep Space.
