Honeycomb Logos Galore - Which One Do You Like The Most? [Poll]

Buried deep in the depths of the Honeycomb SDK that was released yesterday, this Tron-inspired Honeycomb logo, which, as we later found out, was actually part of the Honeycomb Easter egg. Whether this logo is THE Honeycomb logo or not remains to be proven, but it is definitely official, as it came straight from the SDK. Judging by my reddit submission, many of you liked it quite a bit but had ideas of your own of how it could be modified to be more in tune with the Android theme. Here are some of the mods.

For Developers: SDK Tools r9 Now Lets You Edit Properties Of Existing Virtual Devices (AVDs). Finally!

Ah, what a breath of fresh air. After today's SDK Tools r9 and ADT 9.0.0 update that I talked about earlier this morning, I noticed another new feature in the SDK Manager that has been requested for years. As if the near-instant AVD restart support due to the new snapshotting was not enough of a present, developers can now edit properties of existing AVDs!

Before this update, once you've created an AVD, the AVD Manager did not let you touch any of its properties, forcing you to create a brand new virtual device for any tweaks. This was a giant pain for developers who needed to change or add a property, such as density, resolution, allocated memory, or API level.

Native Google Docs Editing Rolling Out In The Next Few Days

One of the most sought for features of the Google Docs mobile interface has always been support for editing documents. As its stands now, you get read-only access, and any editing functionality can be achieved by using external apps, which is far from ideal, especially for quick edits. Note that I'm talking about documents and not spreadsheets here - those have been editable for quite a while now.

Thankfully, today Google announced that proper document editing support is finally ready for your consumption and will be rolling out in the next few days. One really cool part about the new capability is that it's near real-time, meaning whatever you edit in your mobile browser will be uploaded back to the server almost instantly, keystroke after keystroke.
