The days of receiving somewhat flimsy feeling flagship handsets from Samsung, at least for now, appear to be over—but that just means this is a good time to grab the past devices for cheap. The Galaxy S5 is available right this moment on eBay for $300. Think of the S5 as the epitome of plastic phone hardware from Samsung.
The HTC One M9 may not have lived up to all our hopes, but it's still a good phone overall. I'd get an M9 before a great many other devices out there, if the price is right. Today, you can get your hands on an M9 for the reasonable price of $379.99 if you act fast. Read More
A few weeks ago we told you about an upcoming update to the official app for discount retailer and occasional auction service eBay. It looks like the company is ready to roll out version 4.0, for both Android and iOS. Well, almost - though the company has officially announced the update, it seems they're dragging their heels in actually getting it to the Play Store. Our reliable readers have yet to upload an updated version to APK Mirror, so we're assuming that it simply isn't available at the moment. Read More
If you're in the market for a good deal on a mid-range tablet... well, Samsung's Galaxy Tab A series is actually not a very good choice. Between lackluster specs (especially that 1024x768 screen) and a relatively high retail price, it's a long way away from being any kind of deal. But when Samsung overprices its tablets it usually doesn't take very long for market forces to get retailers to drop the price a bit. Such is the case with one eBay merchant, now selling the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab A for just $214.99. This deal is available in the US only. Read More
Once upon a time, Amazon made a phone. It was gimmicky and silly, and no one wanted to play with it. After realizing what a horrible mistake it had made, Amazon tried pawning off said phone for stupid-ridiculous prices.
Oh, and if you basically want to get a phone for like $25, now's the time. I mean, you'll have to deal with knowing you own a Fire Phone, so if you can handle that, then eBay has the deal for you: new phone, free shipping, and it comes with a year of Prime (which is normally $99), all for $125. Do you want to pay full price for a phone? Probably not, especially when they're as expensive as Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge. This is a phone that launched at roughly $800—enough to buy two or four times as many less glossy handsets. Read More
The new Moto X is set to come out in a week or two, but the 2014 model is still a fine device. It's even more fine if you can get one for a mere $180, as you can today on eBay. This is the Verizon model of the phone (XT1096), but that means it's unlocked and should work fine on GSM carriers. Read More
If you are a GSM user thinking about picking up an LG G4, then listen up. The international variant of the 32GB LG G4 is currently available on eBay for the crazy good price of just $419. That's a couple hundred bucks off the original retail price and $80 less than the last time we wrote about it.
The model being sold is the H815 international version. It's compatible with HSPA and most of the LTE bands on both T-Mobile and AT&T. Be sure to check the product listing for the full list of bands if you are concerned with compatibility. Read More
Do you want an Amazon Fire Phone? If you do, I'll bet you want it at a discount - even with a free year of Amazon's Prime shipping/video/music service, it's a hard sell at two hundred bucks. It's a good thing, then, that the Fire Phone is so often on sale. The latest discount comes courtesy of an eBay seller, who's getting rid of the phones for as little as $140. That includes free shipping and free access to Prime, bringing the effective price down to $40 for a contract-free phone. Not bad.
That $139.99 price is for the 32GB model. Read More
The LG G Flex 2 isn't as big as its predecessor, which makes it a more practical device to own. Unfortunately, a slightly curved screen isn't really exciting enough for the cost (AT&T wants $709 off contract). But while the G Flex 2 may not be a must-have phone, it's still a nice one. One you can get on eBay for a significantly more reasonable $290. And it will come brand new—not used, nor refurbished.
These are AT&T unlocked units, so you're free to take them over to T-Mobile, but it won't support all the same bands. This model comes in silver. Read More
