Sony unveils PlayLink, a new way to play games with friends on your phone and PS4

Sony wrapped up the bulk of its E3 conference last night and while most of the announcements there do not pertain to us here at AP (though I did pay attention to several of the announcements out of personal interest), there was one that stood out. It's called PlayLink for PS4, and it's supposed to represent a new way to play games with friends.

Humble Bundle is doing something a little different to celebrate E3 this week, and that's good news for anyone who wants to save a little cash. The special E3 bundle contains over $100 worth of games and content, but most relevant to our purposes here is the Android download of Anomaly 2, which is a cool game that costs $5 all by itself. You also get it on PC/Mac/Linux.

Gameloft Posts Very Pretty Modern Combat 5 Gameplay Trailer In Advance Of E3

Gameloft is preparing to unveil the newest incarnation of it's popular and totally original first-person shooter franchise Modern Combat. We can glean several things from the trailer: there will be guns, there will be helicopters, and oh my god the graphics.

This trailer is obviously designed to look as good as it possibly can, but it does seem to be a cut above Gameloft's previous efforts. The level of detail is impressive and texture resolution is very high. If there is a dead giveaway you're gaming on a mobile device, it will be the physics performance, which has always felt lacking in Gameloft titles.

Madfinger Games Releases Dead Trigger 2 Details, Shows Off Tegra 4 Graphics On Video

Madfinger Games is hard at work on the follow up to one of last year's blockbuster mobile games. Dead Trigger 2 is nearing completion and the developers have decided to release a few new details and drop some impressive gameplay footage on us. The video demo shows the stark difference between Nvidia's last generation mobile chip and the new Tegra 4.

Dead Trigger 2 is going to behave more like a massive online RPG by encouraging cooperation with other players. Of course, you can still go solo if that's your thing. The game will actually play out in real time, which is an intriguing concept for a mobile shooter.

The Awesome Android Controlled Parrot AR Drone Release Date And Price To Be Announced On June 15th At E3

Remember this demo I posted from the Google I/O of the amazingly stable flying drone sporting 2 video cameras on-board? The one you can remotely control with your Android phone?

Let me remind you:

As there was no price for this future Christmas gift list topper announced yet besides the "couple hundred dollars" range, all we could do was guess.

However, now we won't have to guess for too long - Parrot, the maker of this drone, has published on their Facebook page that the official release date and price will be announced at the E3 conference in less than 3 weeks - June 15th, 2010:
