Street of Rage 4 will launch on mobile with optional Mr. X's Nightmare DLC
For $3 the DLC nets you a few new characters and an excellent survival mode
Streets of Rage 4 is styled after the classic Streets of Rage games originally developed and published by Sega on the Sega Genesis. Twenty-five years after Streets of Rage 3, a direct sequel was released by Dotemu after reaching a licensing agreement with Sega. This game is known as Streets of Rage 4, and it's thankfully a fantastic followup, so much so that the game has seen tons of success across consoles and PC. Well, as of this morning, Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games have announced that Playdigious will be bringing Streets of Rage 4 to Android and iOS this year.
DotEmu initially brought a mobile port of Titan Quest to Android back in 2016, though it would appear HandyGames took over the reins at some point. Oddly enough, the iOS version of this action RPG has seen a few different releases come and go, and so it looks to now be Android's turn. That's right, there's a Legendary Edition of Titan Quest coming to Android sometime soon, and it's already available for pre-registration.

DotEmu is in the business of taking the hits of yesteryear and porting them to mobile devices. Titan Quest isn't as retro as many games DotEmu has published, having just come out on PC 10 years ago (and was well-received). It still costs $15 on Steam, but you can get the Android version for $6.99 right now.
Android is having a banner day for classic RPG releases. Almost immediately after Square Enix published Final Fantasy IX to the Play Store, DotEmu has brought the sequel to the original Ys game to the platform. Ys Chronicles I, an updated re-release of Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen, made its way to Android almost a year ago, and now the sequel Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter is also available. (Yes, that's a lot of colons and subtitles.) It's the second half of a story that was originally intended to be a single game way back in 1987, and DotEmu is selling it for $5.
DotEmu is in the habit of porting older but well-liked games to Android. With titles like R-Type, Double Dragon, and Another World under its belt, now we get something a bit more serious. I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream was released on PC in 1995, based on the 1967 short story of the same name by Harlan Ellison. You can probably gather from the name that this is not a feel-good sort of game.
Are you looking for something creepy to set the mood while you wait for the sun to go down on Halloween? Alternately, are you looking for something to do while you wait for your hangover to go away on Sunday morning? Sanitarium, a game originally released for the PC way back in 1998 and now revived by the mobile port experts at DotEmu, should fit the bill. It's been published to the Play Store with impeccable timing, and you can pick it up now for $3.99 with no ads or in-app purchases.

Way back in the bygone days of December 2014, we told you that mega-publisher Ubisoft was teaming up with the nostalgia specialists at DotEmu to bring the turn-based strategy classic Heroes of Might and Magic III to Android.
