NVIDIA started rolling the Android 6.0 update out to its original SHIELD Tablet yesterday after getting the K1 variant on Marshmallow a few weeks ago. Google is keeping up with its promise to roll out monthly patches for Nexus devices, and it's really on the ball this time. It has more or less been following through with that promise, and today it's announcing a January security patch with fixes for Android vulnerabilities from Google's monthly patch, as well as some specific to Samsung devices. Motorola is just about done rolling out Marshmallow updates to its recent phones, and that includes one you might not be very familiar with. The Moto G Turbo Edition in India is getting a 6.0 update right now. This phone is also sold in Mexico, but today's update is for the Indian version.
