Nexus Factory Images For March Security Updates Are Now Available

As is the (new-ish) tradition, Google rolls out security updates on the first Monday of each month. The factory images for March's updates are right on schedule with all of the recent fixes to shore up potential vulnerabilities in the operating system. LMY49H is the build number for the Nexus 10 update, which will remain cut off at Lollipop. Most of the other devices on the list are moving up to MMB29V, though a few other build numbers are available for special variants. It looks like there may still be a couple of missing images, like the Nexus 6P. Just keep checking back and they'll probably turn up shortly.

Sony Now Rolling Out Android 6.0 To Xperia Z5 Series, Z4 Tablet, And Z3+

Sony is sometimes a little slow to release new devices everywhere, but at least its Android update schedule is on par with other OEMs. That is to say, it's annoyingly slow, but not unusually so. The Z5, Z4 Tablet, and Z3+ are all getting Android 6.0 right now, but as usual, it's a staged rollout that will vary by country.

Android 6.0 Update Rolling Out To 2nd Gen Moto G In The US

The 2nd gen Moto G never really seemed like a priority for Motorola in the US. After all, they never even released an LTE variant around here. Upcoming Pixel C Update Will Offer Massive Improvement To Touchscreen Responsiveness, According To AnandTech

The Google Pixel C is a bit of a conundrum. It's a nice piece of hardware, but Android 6.0 still doesn't feel entirely at home on large tablets. This wasn't helped by some strange touchscreen issues that plagued many Pixel C units at launch. AnandTech has gotten some hands-on time with the next big Pixel C update and is reporting that the touchscreen is vastly improved.

Verizon's HTC One M9 Will Get The Marshmallow Update February 16th

HTC tried (and failed) to get all its Lollipop updates taken care of in 90 days last year, but this time they were not so ambitious as to make any promises. They aren't doing bad, though. After earlier getting approval from T-Mobile to push Android 6.0 to the M9, now Verizon is also scheduled for February 16th.
