ZTE spent the last few years building low-cost devices for carriers, but 2015 saw the release of the Axon Pro. This phone had flagship specs and a pretty nice build of almost-stock Android. Upcoming Pixel C Update Will Offer Massive Improvement To Touchscreen Responsiveness, According To AnandTech

The Google Pixel C is a bit of a conundrum. It's a nice piece of hardware, but Android 6.0 still doesn't feel entirely at home on large tablets. Verizon's HTC One M9 Will Get The Marshmallow Update February 16th

HTC tried (and failed) to get all its Lollipop updates taken care of in 90 days last year, but this time they were not so ambitious as to make any promises. They aren't doing bad, though. After earlier getting approval from T-Mobile to push Android 6.0 to the M9, now Verizon is also scheduled for February 16th.

NVIDIA started rolling the Android 6.0 update out to its original SHIELD Tablet yesterday after getting the K1 variant on Marshmallow a few weeks ago. Things haven't been going awesomely for early upgraders, though. NVIDIA has pulled the SHIELD update while it investigates an issue that can break WiFi connectivity on the tablet.
