Samsung Announces Galaxy Player 5.8 – Ample 5.8" Display, 2500mAh Battery Included

True to a rumor we saw earlier this month about a possible addition to Samsung's Galaxy Player line, the Korean manufacturer has just unveiled – via Samsung Tomorrow – the ginormous Galaxy Player 5.8.

As the name would imply, the Galaxy Player 5.8 features a huge, large, ample, plentiful 5.8" LCD display that buyers can only hope will fit in their pocket. The downside here is that the display carries a resolution of just 960x540. To make up for that, however, the player houses an awesome 2500mAh battery pack for hours upon hours of media enjoyment. We aren't privy to the upcoming device's full spec sheet just yet, but here's what we do know: the Galaxy Player 5.8 will also come with either 16 or 32GB internal storage, a microSD slot, a front facing VGA camera, and Android 4.0 running with Touch Wiz on top.

[Hands-On Videos] Acer Quietly Debuts Iconia Tab A210 And A110 At Computex 2012

Acer surprised viewers today with a pair of tablets that were not ushered in even by a humble press release. Engadget reports that the tablets received no formal announcement at Computex either, but that they were only discovered thanks to a wandering eye.

At any rate, the tablets in question are the Iconia Tab A210 and A110 – presumably upgraded versions of the A200 and A100. Each of the tablets has a new design, a Tegra 3 processor, and Ice Cream Sandwich goodness on board. Engadget took some hands-on time with each of the devices, grabbing the photos and videos you see below.

Adobe Officially Releases Six Touch Apps For Android – Making Design, Editing, And Presentation Easier And More Portable Than Ever

At midnight EST, Adobe released the much-anticipated family of Touch Apps to the Android Market, bringing an incredible array of design tools to Android 3.1+ tablets everywhere for $9.99 a pop. The list of included apps is, no doubt, impressive, including Kuler, Photoshop Touch, Debut, Ideas, Collage, and Proto. We've got full, hands-on reviews of each in the works, but in the meantime, it's worth summing up each of the apps individually.

Creative Cloud

Before digging into the individual apps, it's important to mention Adobe's Creative Cloud. The Creative Cloud is what brings Adobe's Touch Apps together, allowing users to upload and download content in a variety of formats to and from the cloud, connecting Android Tablets and desktop machines.
