With Black Friday around the corner, it's just about the perfect time of the year for the dozens of you who are in the market for a new Android tablet. As a prelude to the peak season for big discounts on products that have modest demand, Costco has a sweet deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, one of the few legitimately premium Android tablets out there. The weekend is nigh upon us, meaning it's time for one more round of app sales! Our lists this week have been pretty short, so today's may seem much longer by comparison. If you haven't yet, be sure to go back to Wednesday's post, tiny as it was, to see if anything catches your eye.

[Deal Alert] Acer's Chromebook 14 for Work drops to $390 ($210 off)

Acer has made a name for itself designing and selling good bang-for-your-buck Chromebooks. I came away rather impressed with the Chromebook 15 (2017) not too long ago, despite some shortcuts made to keep the price low. Moving on, though, we're seeing yet another sale on one of Acer's other models; the Chromebook 14 for Work (CP5-471-312N) has dropped to $389.99 on Acer's U.S. store, a savings of $210.

[Update: $349] Deal Alert: The new Acer Chromebook 15 is already $41 off ($359) at Best Buy

Acer is one of many companies manufacturing Chromebooks, and it came out with a new 15.6" model just last month. If you read Jordan's review, you'll know it's a pretty solid laptop, especially considering the price. If you want to grab one, it's already $41 off at Best Buy.

The configuration sold at Best Buy (CB515-1HT-P39B) has 4GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. As mentioned above, the main selling point is the 15.6" 1080p display, since there aren't many Chromebooks with screens larger than 13 inches across.

[Deal Alert] Anker Soundbuds Curve down to $25.99 on Amazon ($44 off MSRP)

When it comes to Bluetooth earphones, you can either go high-end and pay a hundred or several hundreds of dollars for a set, or look for cheap almost no-name brands on Amazon and see if there's something that can do the job without emptying your wallet. The Anker Soundbuds Curve fall in the latter category, but they do at least have the privilege of carrying the Anker brand name with them, and that usually means good quality at a very decent price.

Based on the Curve's 4.2 average rating from more than 560 reviews, I'd say that holds true in this case.
