If you missed out on November's Chromecast deals but still want to pick up the mighty-yet-inexpensive streaming accessory, good news - Best Buy is once again offering the Chromecast for just $29.99, about five dollars (and one cent) off its normal super-affordable price of $35. What's more, BB will give you free shipping, available for delivery by the 24th.

It doesn't appear that the previous deal's Google Play credit offer applies this time around, but saving five bucks is always nice.

When Sony released the Xperia Tablet Z back in May, it turned out to be a surprisingly good tablet. Only six months have passed since then, and while numerous alternatives have come out in that time, it's still a solid piece of hardware. Now, listen close. If you don't have any qualms about using pre-owned hardware, you may be pleased to know that you can currently get this 10-inch tablet for just $235, a price that is significantly lower than its $499 launch price and only marginally more expensive than a Nexus 7.

This is the time of year when lots of folks are picking up new devices for loved ones who are still using their busted old handset from two years ago. Of course, it's not just about loved ones – contract upgrades and new phones in general apply to everyone, regardless of the time of year. If the DROID MAXX is on your (or a loved one's) wishlist this year, Amazon has a good deal going for anyone looking to jump over to Verizon from another carrier: the longest-lasting Droid to date is $12.50.

We're well into the holiday season here in the US, and I know new electronics aren't the only things many of you have picked up lately. If you have some new pounds you're looking to shave, Best Buy has a deal that may just make doing so a little bit easier - or at least more fun. The Fitbit Flex fitness bracelet is currently on sale for $79.99, a savings of $20 from its usual price.

Anyone who's shopped with Amazon for a while should know that occasionally the site has some really appealing deals offered through its Gold Box page. Today, that deal is good for 65% off a pair of V-MODA Crossfade LP Over-Ear Noise-Isolating metal headphones. We saw these in the Gold Box just a few months ago for $74.99, but today's deal brings them all the way down to $69.99 from their normal $199.99 price on Amazon.

Now is a good time to pick up the Galaxy S4, in any color, and on any carrier. Best Buy is promoting an early Doorbuster deal that lets customers get the phone free with a two-year contract, including both new lines and upgrades. Interested buyers can take advantage of the offer at any Best Buy store or online.

While the phone is free, the activation is not. Of course, you will also still be saddled an expensive monthly bill for 24 months.

2013Nexus7-Thumb

Christmas is fast approaching, and if you were already considering picking up a Nexus 7 for a special someone, Google's offering a little something extra to sweeten the deal. For a limited time, both 16GB and 32GB Nexus 7s purchased from the Play Store will come with $25 in Google Play credit. That's not as appealing as saving $30 off a device, especially once taxes are taken into account, but it's still a nice way to fill a new purchase with content.

We've talked about the Fuhu Nabi 2 quite a bit over the last year or so, and it's probably my favorite tablet designed specifically for kids. It's built tough, packed full of useful educational software, and sports enough power to stick with your little one for at least a few years.

Update: It looks like Wal-Mart has 'em beat, because they're letting the Nabi 2 go for $99 November 28th thru December 1st.

Verizon just released its variant of the HTC One Max for a cool three-hundred dollar bill this morning, but Wirefly clearly thought that was just too much, so it knocked a full 50 percent off that. Yeah, you can get the One Max for $150. Of course, that requires a new two-year agreement, but it looks like it's working for both new contracts and upgrades. That's hard to beat.

At this point, we're thinking this could be an error on someone's part, because that's a hell of a deal on a brand-spankin'-new handset, especially one like the One Max.

A couple of days ago, Amazon and NewEgg slashed the price of the 32GB 2013 Nexus 7 to just $239. What made this odd is that the 16GB variant, which is just nine dollars less, didn't receive any sort of price cut. This of course made the buying choice super easy – the 32GB version was the only way to go. If $239 is still a bit too much to be easily justified, however, the 16 gigger is now only $199.
