To celebrate the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox consoles, Square Enix is discounting its Lara Croft GO game by 60% on the Play Store. It's a flash sale though, so you might want to hurry and grab it if the game seemed appealing to you or if you liked its spiritual predecessor Hitman GO.
Lara Croft GO is a turn-based puzzle adventure, where you play your turn moving your character along predefined paths, then wait for your opponents to make their move. There isn't a lot of urgency in the game, so you can take your time exploring the 75 different levels and figuring out the best way to finish them, all while listening to a nice soundtrack and enjoying the smooth animations and low-poly-like designs. Do you like the sound of a $40 tablet? I sure do. I mean we're definitely not talking about a high-end sing-all be-all tablet here, but it's a tablet nonetheless and it does what tablets do, like browse the web and run some games and play some videos and display some books. If this sounds exactly like what you're looking for in a tablet, read on.

Google has a three albums on sale today, including titles from Coldplay & Skrillex as well as a cast recording of a Broadway musical. The three should blend together into a really solid mix for patriotic 15 year high school reunion where everyone does acid. Here are the links.
- Coldplay: A Head Full Of Dreams - This is Coldplay's 7th album and was released just last December.
- Skrillex And Diplo Present Jack U - This is the début studio album by dance duo Jack Ü, known individually as Skrillex and Diplo released last month.
- Hamilton - The complete Broadway recording of the musical Hamilton, inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton, by historian Ron Chernow.
Thomas Was Alone isn't your typical platformer. The game immerses you in its world and forges an emotional bond between you and a rectangle. Yes, a rectangle. As you take charge of the different colorful geometric shapes inside the game, you embark on a journey through more than 100 levels (with 20 levels from the Benjamin's Flight expansion) that's beautifully narrated and deeply sentimental.
When Thomas Was Alone first launched on Android in 2014, it cost about $3.99, but the game has had its price dip on and off since then. Today sees one of its lowest discounts ever, with the price falling to $0.20 in the US. Read More
A few days ago, we saw the price of the new Nexus devices drop by $50 at various retailers as a promo for Valentine's Day. The Google Store had discounts applied on all different variants of the Nexus 5X and 6P, but Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H had only removed the $50 from a few of the color and storage options.
Best Buy was among the sellers discounting the Nexus 6P, but only in gold, and it turns out that the retailer has one more trick to sway your decision its way instead of the Google Store's or Amazon's: an additional gift card. When you add the 32GB ($449) or 64GB ($499) gold Nexus 6P to your cart, you'll see a free Best Buy $25 show up with it. Read More
The original ASUS Zenwatch isn't the best Android Wear device on the market. It does, however, happen to be one of the cheapest options available and is a great entry-level option for someone wanting to see what this smartwatch craze is all about.
The current retail price on the Zenwatch hovers in the $130 to $150 range. Right now you can grab one on B&H for a significantly lower price of $99.99. That's a good price for a smartwatch with a heart rate sensor, a premium leather band, and pretty solid reviews.
There are a couple of small caveats to keep in mind though. Read More
The amount of technology and specs that you can get for less than $200 nowadays is staggering. Do you remember when we were gushing over quad-core processors and 720p displays in flagships that cost over $600 and $700? Well, now those specs count in the lower end of the smartphone market, or at best the lower midrange.
Take the BLU Vivo XL for example. It was just announced at CES at the beginning of the month. Read More
