EA's Real Racing 2, a game that we covered at launch back in December, is the self-proclaimed "most hotly anticipated racing game ever made for Android." It is also on sale (for a limited time) for just $0.99, 80% off its normal $4.99 price tag. The sale comes in celebration of the announcement of Real Racing 3, the next entry in EA's extremely well-crafted racing series.

The game, for those who aren't familiar, brings intense racing action to your Android device with over 40 miles of track in 15 different, equally immersive locations.

Word Lens, the sometimes jittery but generally impressive visual language translator, is getting in the Olympic spirit. For a limited time, the language packs—which are acquired via in-app purchases to unlock full translation support—are being offered for $2.99 per pack, which is $2 off the normal price of $4.99. Huzzah!

It comes at a particularly poignant time. As the Olympic games get underway and the world remembers there's more that the nations of earth do together than wage war and make gadgets, Word Lens can be helpful in breaking down the language barrier and acting as a catalyst for that type of international camaraderie.

UPDATE: Many readers are reporting that the Nexus 7 is now on backorder from OfficeMax and that the coupon may not work any more. That being said, the website still indicates that the tablet will ship in 1 to 3 days. Let us know if you have any luck getting the discount.

There's no doubt that Google's Nexus 7 has been exceedingly hard to find since its launch. From nebulous shipping schedules to stock problems at brick and mortar stores, customers everywhere have had a hard time getting their hands on the device.

Update: If you have some sort of unholy vendetta against Best Buy and refuse to order anything from there, you'll be glad to know that Amazon now has the same deal. Both white and black versions of the Atrix HD are now $50 for new and existing customers.

Well, would you look at that. The new Motorola Atrix HD "4G" officially went on sale just today, and Best Buy has already chopped off fully half of its reasonable asking price.

Similar in style to the crowd-favorite Humble Bundle, the Indie Gala is coming back for a second round. The collection includes three games that you can unlock for whatever price you'd like (minimum donations have been set at a dollar to ward off jerks and shady people). The three basic games are The Lost Souls, Battle Group, and Ichi. Pay more than $3.99 and you also get access to Xelorians, Call of Cthulhu: Wasted Land, and Little Stars For Little Wars 2.

Sure, it's not the big daddy HTC One X that those smug jerks over on AT&T are enjoying, nor is it the Galaxy S III that seems to be stealing all the headlines. But 25 greenbacks for HTC's flagship mid-range device - which still beats out pretty much every phone released from a year or more back, and many since - is hard to pass up. That's the price you'll pay for a new HTC One S on T-Mobile's web store, after an eye-popping limited time discount of $175.

T-Mobile customers excited to get hold of Samsung's latest flagship may have noticed by now that the carrier's base price (for a 16GB device) is $279.99 – yes, that's $80 above every other carrier's price for the 16GB model. Luckily, both Wirefly and Letstalk have lopped that extra $80 off and are now offering the SIII for just $199.99 for new accounts and upgrades. Of course, both retailers are offering Samsung's Galaxy SIII in both its Marble White and Pebble Blue versions.

It hasn't been too long since the Galaxy S III finally started landing on US carriers, but the price drops and deals have already started. If you're on Sprint, or want to be, you can get $50 knocked off the cost of a Galaxy S III from Amazon Wireless. The device is currently available via the site for $149.99 for new and upgrading customers.

A few days ago, Radioshack started this trend by being the first retailer to drop the phone to $149.99, and now it looks like others finally followed.

Update 7/7/12: The deal is back, this time at Daily Steals Last Call.

With sales expected to tip over 10 million units next month, and release dates being pushed back (or split) because of "overwhelming demand," Samsung's Galaxy SIII may just be the most sought-after Android device to date. Those still looking to grab the unlocked GSM version of the device are in luck today – DailySteals.com is offering the device for $599.99, a significant discount over the phone's normal retail price.
