Do you like physics games? I sure do. Puddle THD happens to be a great game in this category if you happen to have a Tegra 3 device. The puzzle-centric fluid simulator is typically available on the Play Store for $5, but today the app has gone on sale for a measly $0.99 to celebrate its first whole year on the market. Not bad!

To get an idea of what this game is like you can either watch the video above or rely on my words. Here they are: have you ever wondered what Sonic the Hedgehog would be like if Sonic were a glob of semi-viscous goo?

Dang it, I've already used up all my "G" adjectives for the day. The internet is not gonna leave me be, though, as the LG Optimus G 4G gets a good ol' grice grop to $49 on Gamazon Gireless. Gee, what a deal. The previous best offer we'd seen for this beast of a phone was $99, also via Amazon. $49 is a downright bargain for this flagship handset.

Both new and upgrading AT&T customers are eligible for the lower price point, as long as they're signing up for a new 2-year contract. Of course, you probably knew that already. While LG's Nexus 4 is still seeing supply shortages, and likely will until mid-February, this is a great alternative if you don't mind contracts and manufacturer skins.

When it comes to the Note 10.1, there's a slip in the crowd: you either love it or hate it. Those who do love it, though, really love it – if you'd like to join those ranks but just can't justify dropping five hundred dollars on a tablet, 1 Sale a Day may have your ticket. For today only, you can get a refurbished Galaxy Note 10.1 16GB for $380. That's a solid $120 off the retail price, which makes for some pretty nice savings.

Comparison shoppers will find the same tablet for $429.99 at Best Buy and the lowest price we could find otherwise: $399.99 at Walmart.

The holidays aren't over yet, and Samsung is playing Santa today if you have a US Galaxy S III or Note II. Just register the device with Samsung and you will get a free flip case worth $40 and 6 NFC TecTiles worth another $15. Not bad for doing almost no work.

All you have to do is install the Samsung Mobile Facebook app on your PC (yes, you have to use Facebook). Then just use the app to register your device and email address. You'll need the IMEI number, which can be obtained by dialing *#06#. An email should arrive in short order with links to claim your free cover and TecTiles.

Newsflash, Android users: the Google Drive/Docs app is terrible. It's just about competent enough to read the documents you've written elsewhere, but for editing and creating new Word, Excel, and PDF documents, you need something with a little more oomph. One of the best choices out there is OfficeSuite, and it's also one of the most expensive, at $15. But right now you can - and should - pick it up for a single dollar.

I've tried a lot of the Android word processor options out there, and I can say that OfficeSuite is definitely one of the best available.

You! Yes, you, with the Galaxy Tab running Gingerbread! You are officially out of excuses for not having a Nexus 7. (Unless your excuse is that you don't have a hundred and eighty bucks.) Google and Asus' seven-inch love child is just $179.99 for the 32GB version - a savings of a whopping $70 - at Gamestop's online store. The only catch is that it's "Gamestop Premium Refurbished".

gamestop nexus 7

Gamestop Premium Refurbished means that it was traded in to Gamestop as a used item, and the company's service department has done some kind of work on it. Now, that could be anything from a sticky power button to a cracked screen, but the unit they send you is functional and complete, including data cable and power brick (but usually not a box or manual).

Despite the slew of devices released since Summer, the Galaxy S III remains one of the most popular handsets in the Android world right now. If you were looking to get your hands on one without signing a new contract, eBay Daily Deals has both the black and blue international versions for $499 unlocked.

2012-12-07_12h50_32

This is the most affordable we've seen the device so far in an unlocked form, though you can still get it for as low as $550 from some other venues, so don't worry too much if you can't grab this deal today. Still, $50 is $50. If this is on your holiday shopping list, go for it.

Amazon just did some price slashing on a scale we rarely see, cutting costs for all sorts of new smartphones across the board. Hit up the list to see what's up for grabs. All of these deals are for both new customers and upgrades.

infuse dock small

Docks are hard to come by for Android hardware, where very few individual models rise above the pack. But if you're one of 30,000,000 people sporting a Galaxy S III, or one of the considerably smaller number using AT&T's Samsung Infuse 4G, you can pick up an official vehicle mount for a song. Assuming that you can sing a song that's worth five American dollars.

infuse 4g galaxy s iii dock

The Infuse 4G dock is currently $29.99 on Amazon, but some wary forum poster over at SlickDeals spotted the same dock at AT&T's online store for just five bucks even. This particular model has been a favorite on XDA for a while, where user "ookba" (who had upgraded from an Infuse 4G to a Galaxy S III) noted that the larger phone fit in the dock just fine, thanks to the gently rounded corners.
