DashLight Is A DashClock Extension That Quickly Turns Your Phone's Flash Into A Torch

We've all been there – it's dark, you drop something, need a little help finding your keys, or simply want to know what you just stepped in. Battery Widget Reborn Beta Adds Support For DashClock Widget, Torch Functionality, Bug Fixes

I've been a big fan of Battery Widget Reborn since we first covered it back in July of 2012. In fact, it's been installed on every device I've owned (or tested) since then. Why? Because it looks good, brings a lot of info to the table, and is constantly updated with new features.

One of my other favorite widgets is the more-recently announced DashClock Widget. There's a lot to love about it, too – like the fact that it supports extensions, making it infinitely customizable.

[New App] AnyDash Displays Notifications From Any App In DashClock

More DashClock extensions? Well, people are pretty excited about the functionality DashClock brings. So yes, more DashClock extensions. The AnyDash extension actually opens up a world of possibilities by piping notifications from any app into DashClock. There are a few caveats, but it looks like everyone's favorite clock widget just got much more useful.

AnyDash has to be registered as an accessibility app before you can use it. This allows it to sweep up notifications from the Android system and display the appropriate icon in DashClock (nothing nefarious going on here).
