The next time you launch Flipboard, it'll ask you for a location permission. The developers have been working on creating more focused content for specific cities, seen through the app's lens of impeccable layout and interface. It should be live in the Play Store now, or swiftly coming to you in the form of an app update.
5G is really picking up steam now, with Samsung announcing its (extremely expensive) Galaxy S10 5G yesterday. Verizon is one of the frontrunners in this game, as it has a launch exclusive on the S10 5G for a few months. At an investor conference today, the company announced that it's aiming to launch 5G in 30 cities in 2019.
In a world that bombards us with things to do, it can be tough to stay on top of everything we think is worth checking out. At this year's MWC, the buzzword that seems to be heard in most presentations and promotional materials is 5G, and T-Mobile isn't waiting around. AT&T has revealed some of its desires for 5G in the coming years, but team magenta's plans are ambitious. Even as it claims not to want to "win the 2018 race," the company wants 30 cities set up with high-frequency 5G by the end of 2018. Unfortunately, you won't actually be able to use it until next year.
Google's clock app doesn't get a lot of functional changes these days. It really doesn't need to since it only does a few things and it does them well. However, today's update goes beyond cosmetic changes and bug fixes, it has upgraded the city selection screen to hit an online database to get even more locations and accurate time zone data. There is also a small change to the icon to discuss, and a teardown reveals that the Clock app is the first to offer direct integration with Google's upcoming feature Routines.
If you're an AT&T subscriber who is yet to "do more faster" with the provider's LTE network, you might just be in luck. AT&T has announced new LTE availability in six cities across the country today, along with expansion in the Greater Seattle Area and one county in Maryland.

The Now Network continues to march forward in its 4G LTE Network Vision build-out, today announcing four markets in which the LTE switch is being flipped. You may remember Sprint's July statement that it would be bringing LTE to four new cities by September 3rd, and it looks like the carrier has already made good on that promise, with one exception – the list has dropped Sherman-Denison, TX in favor of Sedalia MO.
