There's no denying that Square Enix makes some of the best RPGs in gaming history. They also make some of the most expensive games on the Google Play Store, and usually, they're one in the same. If you've been holding off on buying classic titles like Chrono Trigger because of an admittedly high price tag, now's the time to grab them: a handful of Square's games are greatly discounted in the Play Store right now.

The biggest titles are certainly Final Fantasy I and Chrono Trigger, which are now $4.99 and $6.99. That's a savings of roughly 30% on both.

If you were a gamer in the 90s, there was a good chance you either owned or had played a Super Nintendo. While the debate still rages on about whether that machine or the Sega Genesis was superior, it can be safely stated that the SNES had some amazing role-playing titles.

Chief among these was Chrono Trigger, a game by a group of developers so storied that they were labeled a "Dream Team." The game was one of many titles (Final Fantasy VI, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG) that helped further the genre and leave a lasting impression on gaming as a whole.

Now you're talking, Square Enix. After releasing Final Fantasy after Final Fantasy to Android, the RPG legend has gotten around to releasing everyone's favorite non-terminal adventure: Chrono Trigger! For the uninitiated, what's taking you so long? This game has been out since the Super NES and has been emulated to death! Heck, it's even available on the DS. You're out of excuses now, it's time to play.

Now Androis users can also experience the entire, time-spanning adventure. From 65 million B.C. to after the end of the world, the journey of Chrono, Lucca, Marle, and the entire cast of magical heroes is available for $10.

You are Cthulhu. Feels good, doesn't it, being an ancient Elder God? Well, I've got some bad news for you. Your powers have been stolen. Don't ask me how the mighty Cthulhu lost his powers, but he did. Now, it's up to you to get them back by becoming a hero and saving the world...so you can destroy it later.

Cthulhu Saves The World is styled like an old SNES, 16-bit RPG, and it's every bit as charming as Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy. The game was originally released on XBLA and Steam, but now it's available for Android, and slightly cheaper at that.
