When Namco's Tank! Tank! Tank! served as Wii U launch game in November of 2012, it was criticized for having little more content than a mobile game. As it turns out, that wasn't an exaggeration. That game's one drawing feature, hot multiplayer tank-on-tank action, is now available For Android in much the same form thanks to Iron Force from Chillingo and Cool Fish Games.

IronForce1 IronForce2

IronForce3 IronForce4

Iron Force lacks a single-player campaign, outside of the ability to play against bots.

If there is one thing the internet has collectively agreed is great, it's cats. Not real cats necessarily, but cats doing funny or adorable things – cats in the abstract. Wake the Cat from Halfpixel Games and Chillingo is a physics puzzler where you have to bounce a ball of yarn over to a sleeping kitten, which should just about do it for the internet.

Wake the Cat comes with 90 levels of cluttered floors and sleeping cats.

We all have a deep-seated desire to smash things – a love of destruction, if you will. Don't bother denying it. Well, there are plenty of things to destroy in Catapult King, a game that made quite an impact on iOS. This is a physics game that invites you to knock down all manner of structures with a magical catapult.

You can think of Catapult King as a more advanced version of Crush the Castle.

It was rumored earlier this morning that Chillingo, publishers of the massively popular games Angry Birds by Rovio and Cut The Rope by Zeptolab, would be acquired by a major company. It has been confirmed that a deal has been struck and Chillingo has been acquired by EA for $20 million in cash and possibly more.

While full details of the transaction haven't been released yet, there were probably some other bonuses involved as $20 million is far below Chillingo's estimated worth of $80 to $200 million.
