You Can Now Play Chess On Your Face Using Just Your Voice And Google Glass

Do you remember when Windows Vista came with a pre-installed 3D version of chess? It was a good way to show off what computers were capable of, and it sure beat playing another tired round of 2D, pixelated solitaire (if only for a few moments). Aside from that, there aren't many modern examples of digital chess being all that impressive. Even in a high resolution and covered in great textures, it's still a slow-moving board game.

But this is different, because now not only can you play chess digitally, you can play it on your face. That's right, the game is now available for Google Glass.

[Game Time] Chess-Presso Is Social Chess To Make You Feel Dumb On The Go

There are two things I know about chess for sure: I like playing it and I hate playing against computers. Computers are cold, calculating, and just generally smarter than me. They don't make mistakes. They want to take over my planet with their cold, metal claw-hands and laser eyes. If something is going to make me feel stupid, it damn well better be a person. This is why I like Chess-presso. Chess-presso knows that they can delay the eventual mechanical uprising by allowing me to play the game of kings with other flawed, squishy humans.

I really, really enjoy this game.
