In stock Android, capturing a screenshot from your device is as easy as pressing the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously. Recording video from the device's screen however can be a little trickier.

Looking, as always, to enhance the stock Android experience with awesome new touches, the CyanogenMod team (specifically Koushik Dutta) is working on integrating screen recording through an easy Volume Up + Power combination.

With that simple key combination, users will be able to record their device's screen, with audio and touch indicators thrown in for added utility.

It's no secret that I enjoy Autodesk mobile apps. From Pixlr Express to Sketchbook to AutoCAD 360, it's hard to find an instance when the company has produced a sub-par piece of mobile software.

Continuing that trend, Autodesk released FormIt to the Play Store today, two months after teasing the app's progress on its blog. The former iOS exclusive is meant to help users quickly create and manipulate building forms based on quick ideas or inspiration while on the go.

Android powers most of the worlds smartphones and a sizable number of tablets, but that's just scratching the surface of what our favorite mobile operating system can do. Consider Capture, a game show on CW where contestants utilize Android to capture one another in the real world. They compete in an environment that's filled with power-ups, dangers, and even an electronic fence that serves in place of the invisible walls that plague all but a few 3D games.

Last week, Vine introduced its "biggest" update yet … for iOS. The update brought along a handful of improvements in Vine's ongoing effort to improve the product and galvanize it against Instagram's new video functionality.

Today, Vine brought the update to Android. Along with a new version number (1.3.1), users will gain access to new video channels, with the ability to browse or upload to specific content-related channels. The updated Vine debuted with fifteen channels including categories like comedy, music, and nature.

The Samsung Nexus S has already shown off its camera once, but up until now, we haven't seen what that 5MP shooter's capable of when it comes to video recording. Well the wait is over, as a (portrait) video shot by none other than the GT-i9020 has hit YouTube:

The quality is more or less what we've come to expect from 720p video taken by a cameraphone, though it certainly won't blow any minds.
