Brightstar, a global wireless services company with a presence in more than 51 countries worldwide, has acquired LetsTalk.com for an undisclosed fee.

Since its founding in 1999, LetsTalk has served as an independent resource for wireless products and services, raising $21.5 million in funding. The San Francisco based company competes with Wirefly and Amazon, selling service plans from US carriers.

"Brightstar can now extend the wireless supply chain to the point of purchase and enable sales of connected products through an integrated omni-channel that includes online, in-store, mobile and social interfaces," said David Stritzinger.
