DashClock Widget Developer Switches To New Beta Testing Technique, Helps Us See How It Works

If you're running Android 4.2, odds are pretty good that you have also installed Roman Nurik's popular lock screen widget, DashClock Widget. Now, thanks to the new method of running beta tests in the Play Store, you can also try out the latest features and improvements before they officially launch. By joining this program, test versions pop up as if they were regular updates.

The setup process is quick and painless. Simply perform these 3 steps:

  1. Join the DashClock Widget Community on Google+ (note: some people have been having trouble joining communities this weekend as the Join Community button doesn't seem to do anything, but what seems to work is searching for a community name and joining it then).

[Updated] Dolphin Team Leaks Thousands Of Beta Tester Email Addresses

Users that have been testing out Dolphin Browser's newest private beta received a somewhat alarming email this morning: a message containing the email addresses of thousands of other beta testers. The email also included some rather interesting "keys," but it hasn't been determined what the keys represent at this point, or if they have anything to do with the leaked addresses.

If you're a part of the Dolphin Beta and you didn't receive this email, you need to be aware that your email address may have been leaked as well.

The Dolphin team has yet to comment, but we'll keep you posted as any new information arises.
