Since Verizon still wouldn't officially give up the upcoming Droid Bionic's release date, all we've had to chew on so far were rumors of the September 8th release date here and there (the latter was then discredited as an unofficial account by VZW, so it really has no credibility anymore).

To throw another rumor into the fire, one that seems to corroborate all the previous rumors, today the folks at Droid Attic dug up what seems to be an image of Best Buy's internal system showing the Bionic in stock on September 7th. While that doesn't necessarily mean it will go on sale right away, the dates line up quite well for the perfect storm on the 8th.

It looks like HTC is on top of its game when it comes to accessories for upcoming devices: the dock for the HTC EVO 3D showed up in coming-soon-status at BestBuy.com last night, and now an ever-so-sexy dock for the Flyer has made an appearance there, as well.

It offers everything that you would expect from a dock: it keeps your device charged, makes turning your $500 piece of hardware into a $20 alarm clock a snap, and supports the MHL adapter via its rear port, so you can easily stream videos (or anything else you may want to stream) to your HDTV - all while looking good doing it.

White HTC EVO 4G Coming Exclusively To Best Buy July 11th, Sprint Stores August 8th - Preorders Open Now
Last Updated: July 11th, 2010

This was unexpected - Best Buy is offering exclusive preorders on a white version of the HTC EVO 4G, scheduled to arrive in Best Buy stores on July 11th. The white version is going to have the same specs and price of $199 on a 2-year contract. As usual, a $50 deposit in the form of a Best Buy gift card is required.

I am not sure personally that I would like the white version over the black one, but I guess some people expressed desire for one.

How about you guys? Which color do you prefer?

B&N Nook at Best Buy

Barnes & Nobles Nook - one of the better eReaders out there and a direct competitor to Amazon's Kindle lineup, is now available for order on Bestbuy.com and 1,070 brick and mortar Best Buy stores.

Previously, you could only order the Nook from Barnes & Nobles stores and website.

The price still sits at $259 but those Nook seekers who are Best Buy Rewards members or don't have B&N stores locally will find this announcement helpful.

Note that Store Pickup is not available if you order online yet, so head over to your local store if you want to play around with the Nook and hold it in your hands before making the final decision.
